Excursão de um dia a Petra saindo de Amã

Tayseer was our driver and was an excellent driving companion. The trip was roughly 3 1/2 hours but get shorter as he described each area with great detail. Once in Petra we had another guide who took us on a vigorous walk into the main section of the mountain passage into the Petra dwellings. Stunning walk, but be prepared with good walking shoes that are comfortable on loose rock. We finished our walk of Petra and Tayseer picked us up with warm bread in hand. Great way to finish …bread, cool water, and a nice nap.

Tayseer was our driver and was exceptional! He told stories of the region during our 3 hour drive from Amman and was just a super friendly and knowledgeable driver. He even had warm bread waiting for our departure. We had a great guide inside of Petra who was a master at taking iPhone pics. Overall a great tour with great people.

We spent a wonderful day in Petra and in the desert and our amazing driver and guide Mohammad Masoud took a lot of care of us and drove us safely around the most stunning places of Jordan!

My driver Oqbah was a personable & knowledgeable man, and as the day tour from Amman required around 5 hours (round trip) sitting in a (nice and modern) vehicle, his engaging conversation enabled the time to pass quickly. The guide at Petra (Ali) was an experienced and incredibly knowledgeable guide. Petra is an amazing place with a ancient history. This was a wonderful trip. The driver, Firas, was excellent - very good English, very safe driver, very nice person. The guide was Ali. Also an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, very helpful with taking photographs. Petra is spectacular. This was an excellent trip, highly recommended.

As promised at the time of booking, we were picked-up from our hotel at 7 AM for the 3 hour-drive to Petra in a comfortable car with air con, wi-fi, water and a short stop at the halfway point for coffee. The journey went really quickly as our driver, Oqba, is very knowledgeable and answered our many questions about Jordan, Amman and Petra. He also went out of his way to show us interesting sites on our way to Petra such as the smallest hotel in the world. We visited Petra with a guide and it was great to have him talk us through the history of this site which is much bigger than we had expected. We only wished we had selected an overnight stay in Petra because there is so much to see, in particular if you enjoy walking/hiking. March is a perfect time of the year to visit as the temperatures are not too high. The site is huge and we were able to take many pictures alone at the front of the Treasury without other tourists. We felt completely safe during our visit of Petra and our stay in Jordan. Friends and family have already booked their trip after seeing our pictures 😊 We would recommend to visit as soon as possible!
