Você passeará de Segways pelo principal centro da cidade de Victoria Falls, além da agitação deste vibrante centro cultural. A excursão levará você até a famosa "Big Tree", que mede 22,4 metros de altura sobre os arredores. É possivelmente o maior e mais antigo (2000 anos de idade) Baobá no país. Haverá tempo suficiente para tirar algumas fotos e tomar um refresco. O passeio continua na estrada conhecida como Zambezi drive, que é quase 4 km de vistas do lado do rio de natureza abundante. Se tiver sorte, encontraremos impalas, bushbucks, búfalos, elefantes e hipopótamos. A próxima parada é a ponte parabólica de Victoria Falls, que conecta Zimbábue e Zâmbia. Foi a inspiração de Cecil Rhodes, que previa trens "pegando o spray das Cataratas enquanto passavam". Além da maravilha natural, você pode ver viciados em adrenalina pulando da ponte durante o salto de bungee de 111m! O passeio de Segway termina quando você volta para o Victoria Falls Hotel, onde você aprende a história do hotel mais antigo do Zimbábue. Tour canceled due to animal activity in area. That is understandable, but we weren't notified in advance and waited 40 minutes.
The activity was canceled at last minute. The Segway was not operational and this was not communicated prior. Quite disappointed.
Unfortunately the Segway operation is not currently running (Sept 2025). Maybe it will be back? Instead, simply allow 2 hours (min.) to walk the length of the rainforest viewing points. Maybe USD $50 per person entry is steep, but still unmissable. The park closes circa 17:30. Walking the roads near the rainforest park after dark is not advisable (hippos).
Victoria Falls Hotel is fabulous steeped in history and beautiful scenery! The Falls were magnificent and powerful. The walking tour was great although wet! Luckily we were provided with raincoats. Lastly we took a helicopter to view it all from above!
To be honest, I thought the tour was a little slow. But it was still very informative and fun, so I’m not knocking it down for that. You also have to go slow to spy animals, so there’s that. I love this activity. Great for beginners and experienced riders alike.
This was a great couple of hours to spend seeing the sights of Victoria Falls township and park - but not the waterfalls. Best view on the tour was from the Outlook Cafe of the river gorge. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining but we did request he skip the end of the tour to the hotel and market so we could view the waterfalls on foot for an hour. He was happy to accommodate us. Entry to the waterfalls park is US$50 each and they are the highlight of the area, naturally, even in the dry season.
Nathan was a friggin awesome guide. He really knew his stuff. To be honest i thought it would just be a fun ride, but Nathan made it so much more. Took us to some markets and his knowledge on local history and events was amazing. The segways are easy to ride and so much fun. We were 5 people in our 60's and had no trouble. Covers so much more ground than on foot. If you book request Nathan for your guide.
Had a wonderful time. Our leader was very knowledgeable and described threes and birds along our ride. Transport was provided from lodgings.
A different vantage view of Victoria Falls. Travelling on Segway, you see stuff which might elude you when travelling by car or tour bus. Our guide Kuda was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about Zambezi river, visiting the oldest Baobab tree and also walking on Victoria Falls bridge into Zambia territory! If you can spare the time ; do this and you definitely will not regret.
I did this my first morning in Vic Falls. Fun way to see the town. I don't remember my guides name but he did a great job showing me places that are off the beaten track for tourists and how to use the Sedgeway. My only complaint is that the website said the tour would end at Victoria Falls hotel for a chance to eat and it started there instead. I was disappointed in that but otherwise I had a great time.
