Excursão de Segway no Parque do Retiro em Madri

Fantastic way to see classy Madrid and Retiro. Highly recommend, guide was excellent had a great understanding of the history and monuments/buildings

I was a little hesitant at first since I had never ridden on a Segway before but our guide, Jacob was so patient and truly a very knowledgeable guide at put me at ease. We saw some amazing historical sights around town and each time there was a specific point of interest, Jacob would stop snd give us a very detailed story of the history of the location. We also went to Retiro park which was so lovely and massive. I was very grateful to have been on a Segway because otherwise I do not think I would have seen às much as I did. I highly recommend the Segway tour if you are able bodied and enjoy seeing a lot of interesting sites. It was fun!

Segways are the way to go to Retiró Park! Cool breeze even in a heat wave! Andrea was so patient as we stopped for pictures and very knowledgeable.

Tl;dr Wonderful Guide, inconvenient (to me) decisions by company Great tour guide (Andrea) who was insanely knowledgeable and friendly, and she took me to see some great off-the-beat places which was a good counter to my bad luck (Retiro park was closed that weekend). If you take this tour hopefully you get Andrea. As for the not-so-good, an hour into the trip, the 4 no show tourist that were originally scheduled decided to show up and my guide was forced to get them and bring them out (so my tour was interrupted and cut short). I wish the company had handled this differently since I am the one that missed out and the other tourists were the ones accomodated.

Super fun tour! You do go out in traffic though to get to the Park and back. Andrea was an excellent tour guide and took care of my son who wasn’t very comfortable on the Segway on hills and traffic. The park was beautiful! I would definitely recommend this tour!

Should add some context in explanations / notes to warn that meet up spot is very far from Retiro Park. We got confused and by the time we figured out the meeting spot was on the opposite side of the city, we were going to miss 1/2. Giving 2 stars vs 1 because they offered to have someone meet us to catch us up but we were near the park when we realized. Requested refund or different time. Both denied. Found a private 1 hour private Segway tour at a competitor and it was perfect. Just us, 1 hour tour of park, 20 minute set up and 15 each way to park. Loved.

I had an absolutely amazing time on my Segway tour through the heart of Madrid! I was lucky enough to have the tour all to myself, which made the experience even more personal and memorable. My guide, Oscar, was simply outstanding — incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. He made the entire ride entertaining, informative, and full of great stories about the city. Riding the Segway through the beautiful streets, plazas, and parks of Madrid was a perfect mix of adventure and excitement. Oscar’s guidance made me feel confident and safe, even as we zipped through narrow alleys and vibrant neighborhoods. It was such a unique and thrilling way to discover the city! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madrid — whether you’re solo or with a group, it’s a fantastic way to explore, and if you’re lucky enough to ride with Oscar, you’re in for a real treat!

This was our first time riding a Segway! It turned out that my husband and I were the only people signed up for the tour. We started at the Wonder Tours shop, where they gave us a good lesson on how to ride a Segway, and let us practice in the street for a little while. And then Jacob led us on a 15-minute ride through Madrid streets into Retiro Park. It was a bit terrifying riding through Madrid on the highways, along with all the crazy traffic, but Jacob was right that we learned quickly how to control our Segways sufficiently. Once we get into the park, it was a lot more relaxing. Jacob was very knowledgeable and taught us lots of things about the park. He was very professional and always made sure we were safe. We really enjoyed this tour!

Don't miss this!! So fun. Kudos to Carolina and Mica for encouraging me (I'm 78) and teaching me (my first time on a Segway) -- an experience I won't forget.

Excellent tour!! We arrived to make the reservation the same day of the tour without any setback. Excellent attention from Ricardo and excellent guide Jacobo. For next time in Madrid we will be taking a tour of all the variety they offer. Thank you very much for your excellent service!!!
