Excursão de meio dia pelo Equador

Nasser was a fantastic guide. Full of interesting information on Ugandan history and culture. He was also so kind, welcoming and friendly, which makes all the difference when you’re a solo traveller. The stop at the traditional Ugandan instrument making workshop was amazing! As a fan of traditional music I really appreciate their hard work on keeping Ugandan trad music alive. The equator was fantastic. Seamless handover to the guide there, so entertaining and professional. There are great shops there and the coffee I got from the cafe was sublime. On for a traditional lunch and thanks again to Nasser for recommending what to eat. It was stunning although far too large a portion for me! An unforgettable trip, made more so by Nasser being my guide

This was my second tour with Nasser on my trip to Uganda. The drive to the equator line took around 2 hours but this passed by quickly as Nasser is a good conversationalist. Whilst there is not too much to do at the equator line, it was still nonetheless a worthwhile experience. After this we headed to a local drum making factory where it was explained in detail to me the process of making the drum. They also performed a dance for me which had a variety of local instruments which was thoroughly entertaining. Nasser again drove in a safe manner and accommodated my request to try some more local fruit from the market vendors along the way. I chose to skip lunch so I can’t comment on that, but albeit a quite short day, I felt like it was worthwhile and enjoyed myself and Nasser’s company.

Nasser was a phenomenal driver and tour guide! I learned so much from his expert narration during the drive to/from Equator. He linked us quickly with local guide who performed the “experiment” about the Coriolis force - with time for shopping for local handicrafts and a latte from the equatorline cafe. We also stopped to visit artisans crafting traditional drums 🪘- that also included an impromptu concert. It was a most memorable and enjoyable excursion from Kampala. So glad I booked this tour. And many thanks again to Nasser for the expertise!

The visit to the Quaddafi mosque was revealing, likewise the visit to the King's Palace. The visit to the torture chambers made me sad. I learnt a lot. The Equator visit was epic. As usual Nasser was on point. He's very knowledgeable and smart.

This is a wonderful experience. The African drumming was great and such friendly people. The Equator trip is interesting to see and you must do the little experiment. It's also a great Ugandian photo opportunity. I was looked after from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou

4 hours to drive for a 5min Show and Fotos on a N/S Stone! Worth to do? For me was ok, also because ate first time Rolex....driver was good and nice, but.....I was charged for a higher price, because Single, but there was an additional person/tourist; she did not disturbed but not fair to charge me Single price. Did not get a bottle of water during this long trip, despite it was very hot...would have been nice

Outstanding Excursion. The Equator Point was fun & informative and a nice touch was the Certifate presented. The stop at the Drum makers was an added treat especially when did a playing demonstration (and mistakenly used me 😂). TheGyide escorting me was knowledgeable and drove very safely given the heavy traffic. All-in-all a great tour
