A good look at life in a small town outside of Mazatlan La Noria. Lunch at the restaurant there was very enjoyable. Leaving about how the dancing horses are trained and getting to see it live was very cool. While we have been to Los Osuna tequila farm before, we actually got to see the agave being cooked and then shredded to get the syrup out.
A great way to see a bit of the beautiful area around Mazatlan. Visited 2 villages, had a good tequila tasting and a really good lunch. Jose (the tour guide) was great. He had lunch with us and he shared lots of personal stories along the way. We enjoyed the tour and would recommend it.
Jesus was excellent. We had a great time and got to go off the beaten path too. Jesus was very knowledgeable. The Blue Agave Spirits were great and so was lunch. The distillery actually runs in the summer. You won't regret this trip!
Our tour got cancelled the very same day we arrived to the port . We found our driver who informed us that he texted me the night before to cancel the tour . Obviously we never received the text since we were in the middle of the ocean , so we could reschedule or re arrange either way another company. I haven’t received the money for the two tickets yet .
What a fantastic day! The tequila tour was so informative, and we learned so much! Our provided lunch at La Noria was fantastic! The restaurant was nicely appointed and the staff were so good. The food was soooo good, we had the grilled Mahi Mahi and the Chicharrón de atún, both were spectacular! The part of this tour that really topped it off for us was our tour guide Jesus Valdez! Jesus was such a nice fellow and he was filled with so much local information! We highly recommend this tour!
Waited over 90 minutes for our pick up. Couldn’t hear anything in the shuttle as their sound system wasn’t working. Tour guide started out by adding things into the tour which weren’t popular with the participants and delayed the group from getting to the main feature, the tequila factory, and other agenda items. He stopped at someone’s house and walked the group thru someone’s personal home. The tour did get back on track. Tequila factory was interesting, as was the leather goods shop. Lunch was very good as well. Probably wouldn’t recommend the tour to others.
Carlos is a fantastic guide. We noticed his helpfulness and special care to all his passengers and locals in the towns we visited. We loved every stop of this tequila and village tour. The local people we met along the way were very accommodating. The lunch in La Noria was so delicious! Thank you for this experience.
Besides being beautiful we learned so much about tequila, how to grow and harvest the agave. The information was so detailed. We loved every minute.
Jesus is an excellent guide. Very informative. Tequila factory interesting especially if u haven’t been to one. Excellent lunch.
Our guide "JOSE" provided us with a day to remember in Mazatlan. What a perfect, informative, kind and pleasant man. The entire day from small villages to The 🔵 Blue Agave farm to lunch in La Noria far exceeded our expectations. A day to remember. Will be requesting Jose again on my next adventure in beautiful Mazatlan, Mexico
