An amazing boat trip with our captain Thanos (sorry if I misspelled 😅). The captain made sure everybody would see several turtles and showed us the best spots across the south and east coasts. I really recommend this trip - would book again.
So the most beautiful big turtles nearby. Was sailed past large beautiful caves and was allowed to jump in and swim. We were sailed to an island where we could swim for about 45 minutes. Very beautiful water. No possibility of shadow. Very kind and sweet captain. Place for about 20 on the boat.
The sea everywhere is beautiful and visiting it from the boat is even more beautiful, but the pursuit of turtles in the sea is obscene, as is the condition of the island's beach of Marathonisi because of the numerous boats, the uncivilized people and the kiosks. This is not true turtle protection, although the nests are limited by a small rope and buildings found elsewhere in Zakynthos.
The excursion lasted 3 hours instead of 4. There was only 1 moment to swim for 10 minutes We have not received water. The guide was not at all chatty and also dumped us on a beach for half an hour. The way the turtles are hunted, I thought it was pathetic. Luckily it is a beautiful island and I enjoyed the view.
Great trip for the family - 17,14,10. Got to see turtles and two lovely swims along with fantastic shots of the caves. Our captain was a great driver too!
Well organised, fun and much enjoyed trip. We saw turtles and swam in the beautiful water. Enjoyed the free time aswell. Super convenient being picked up and returned to our hotel and the bottle of water at the end was a lovely touch. Would recommend
This trip was the worst ever, I’ve done several boat trips previously and really enjoyed them but this was on a small, supposedly glass bottomed boat, there were just 2 small glass panels in the centre of the boat about the size of a hand towel! We were crammed on like sardines in uncomfortable bucket stools fitted tightly together. The ticket said there was bottled water, there wasn’t. Venues were amazing, the Keri caves, turtle island and the turtle spotting. Stops were too short though.
Beautiful boat tour at a fair price of €27 per person. The captain navigated to various beautiful spots, always pointing out great photo opportunities, and included swimming breaks in two bays, which was a welcome refreshment in the nice weather. The tour lasted shorter than announced (online it states between 3 and 5 hours), and we were just under two hours on the water, but that was okay. On Marathonesi, one could even buy ice cream and drinks from a boat on the beach and had 20 minutes on-site before continuing. We saw a turtle 🐢 multiple times in the harbor on the way there and back.
We saw turtles, we got to see the caves, swim in the sea and stop at marathonissi for about 45 min.
Excellent crew, fantastic views, turtles are amazing. I highly recommend, I booked through Viator.
