Phra Sumen Fort é uma fortaleza construída durante o reinado do rei Rama I. Naquela época, foram construídos 14 fortes para proteger a capital. No entanto, com o passar do tempo, os fortes já não eram necessários e foram demolidos. Phra Sumen Fort é um dos dois fortes restantes, sendo o outro o Mahakan Fort.

A Assembleia Nacional da Tailândia, ou Parlamento, é o ramo legislativo do governo tailandês e é considerada uma das três instituições que representam o poder soberano no país.
O distrito foi criado em 1904 e chamou-se Bang Yai. Devido ao seu tamanho era difícil administrar, e assim em 1917 a parte norte foi dividida como distrito menor (king amphoe), Bang Mae Nang. Em 1921, Bang Mae Nang tornou-se um distrito completo.
Estabelecido durante o reinado do rei Barommagot de Ayutthaya e localizado em Tambon Chalo, este templo foi construído no estilo distintivo de um navio de comércio europeu tradicional. Muitas vidas foram perdidas quando navios se afundaram no rio próximo, e a crença local ditou que, como resultado, um templo deveria ser construído como um barco para trazer de volta boa fortuna. Embora abandonados por muitos anos, os monges finalmente assumiram residência no templo novamente durante o reinado do rei Rama III ou IV.
Nonthaburi está localizado em uma bacia fértil na margem do rio Chao Phraya, onde muitas plantações de frutas e flores estão intercaladas com vários templos históricos.

Our guide Joker was fun and knowledgeable. The organisation of different transportation means was super smooth. The route covered wide area and we saw daily life outside tourist area. People were friendly. As an extra step, our guide surprised us with a video about our experience (he took many pictures and videos and shared with us) after the trip. We were really happy with that day - time and money super-well invested!

I cannot express how amazing this tour was. Everything was so well organized and communicated. The day was so fun and full of adventure. Our two teenagers had a blast. The entire tour was full of things we would have never found or discovered ourselves.

A fantastic experience, with a variety of methods of transports you really get a flavour of thai life. 2 trains, a ferry, a tuk tuk and a rocket boat finally returning to Bangkok via a premium cab it was a great use of half a day. My guide Enjoy was very knowledgeable & friendly. Recommend highly! The rocket boat was the highlight at times we really laid down some speed.

We enjoyed getting out of the city for the rural experience and seeing some of the tradition activities. The variety of transport, boat, tuk tuk, rocket boat, and cab added to the experience.
