Manavgat Külliye Camisi, também conhecida como a Grande Mesquita de Manavgat, é uma mesquita histórica localizada na cidade de Manavgat, na província de Antalya, na Turquia. This tour was significantly different to the itinerary of the tour as listed, and having chatted with others on the same trip it turned out many of us had conflicting itineraries. We did not visit Manavgat Mosque or Seleucia Ancient City. The tour also said it would be a maximum of 15 people when actually it was approx 80+ people on 5 vehicles. The only things that were the same were the visit to the Green Canyon and the fact that the transport was Cabrio Jeeps. The cabrio jeeps are like open sided buses and carry around 15 - 18 people. There were 5 vehicles in total and our first visit was to a cafe. Unfortunately, upon arrival at the cafe our driver got out of the cab and failed to open the door for the passengers so we had to yell for assistance. We were then told to buy water guns and drinks. Having then boarded the vehicle again the next part of the journey (an hour or more) comprised of the vehicles repeatedly overtaking each other while people had water fights. The drivers had also placed a container of water on the floor for refilling bottles and water guns. Whilst the children and some adults enjoyed it, a number of people were not prepared for the water fighting and ended up drenched and unhappy. The floor of the bus was swimming in water and dangerous. The Green Canyon was beautiful and we boarded a large boat to sail around for about an hour. Loud music was played on the boat and one child was so distressed by this her mother had to hold a towel over her ears. The crew members were seen smoking and throwing cigarette butts into the lake repeatedly and a pushy photographer was constantly in attendance - also smoking constantly. After the boat tour we had lunch, which was basic, but ok. We were then taken to an 'animal park', which was not on the itinerary and I was required to pay approx £8 entrance fee, which apparently included a photo with a lion cub. It was the worst animal park I have ever been to - the conditions were appalling and the few animals which were there were not in great condition. The worst part was the lion cubs - 3 or 4 cubs, clearly distressed and crying for there mother, (no sign of any adult lions in the park anywhere) were repeatedly given to various tourists for photo purposes. I am also not sure why an animal park had an enclosure entirely full of common pigeons cooped up. It was appalling to see and I cannot believe that it was actually legal. On the journey back to our hotel our vehicle was pulled over by the authorities as our driver was not wearing a seatbelt and also did not have a tour guide present (a legal requirement in Turkey) . I would absolutely advise against booking this tour (or any tour with Pink Panter company). After the tour I communicated with the provider's customer service department who were dismissive, unhelpful, stated that the tour was as per the itinerary (NOT TRUE) and demanded to see photo's that I took.
We are English speakers and booked a tour in English, however the tour was in German, no English, we had no idea what was happening and then to top it off the driver took us back to our hotel and missed out half of the tour, fed back to the tour operator and they said they will look into it. Would not recommend this tour at all.
I experience so much in enjoy green line tour. Well I like much it is local Turkish food. We love our tour guide angel she is nice and good at explaination about tour and history.
Be careful with this tour company. The tours are terrible (well I didn't make it to the tour actually) I was picked up in a private car and transferred to the tour office (nothing was explained to me really ) the bus finally showed up. It was small , crowded (Def more than 15 people) the air conditioning was broken. People could not stand the heat so they decided to stop and ask the company for a solution. Two hours in to the "tour" we where at a gas station waiting for another car to arrive. At this point I decided this is a waste of time and money and I was feeling sick from the heat. I took a taxi which cost me £30 and went back to my hotel. This is a real scam be careful of the positive reviews as this company didn't seem to be capable of organising a tour.
Everything was fine. The team did everything to make us enjoy the trip. This was not our first excursion with them and we knew IT s gonna ne great.
Wonderfull place, amazing view, worth to go. Plus driver where extremly nice with me and my friend, plus local people and tour guide at the tour where showing their emotional turkish lifestyle. You enjoy that tour definately
