The Egyptologist, Waleed, is the real deal. He has participated in actual archaeological digs and knows his stuff. He is professional, polite and passionate. He never asked for any tips or pressured me to buy anything. I highly recommend him. The Valley of the Kings was impressive. However, the tour guide does not go down with you into the tomb. Instead there are tomb ‘guards’ who oftentimes will try to get you to pay them for pictures. Some are genuinely helpful and will take a couple of pictures for a dollar. However, on one occasion, the tomb guard was not happy with the tip offered and he blocked the exit and insisted on getting more money. This was a very intimidating experience as we are alone in a cave at 300 metres. I had to stand my ground. Every cave tomb seems to have the same hustle going on where the moment you go down, someone follows you. They act like your guides and then they want to take pictures of you. Then, they want a tip. After two or three times this becomes tiring. My advice is ask the guide to come with you, especially if you are a solo female.
We have the activity with Ahmed and I can say It was the best driver and guide ever. He was so kind and organised for visit all the places and make our day great. Thanks a lot Ahmed! You did our experience awesome Greetings from Elisa and Dario :)

Excellent service I recommend 100%. Our guide was very attentive and super professional. He gave us valuable explanations to understand hieroglyphics and the many sites visited. He passed on his knowledge with passion. He took care of absolutely everything and it is very nice. Our driver was very kind and drove us from one site to another leaving us the time we wanted to enjoy the place. We felt free being supervised. Everything was perfect. Thank you!!!!!

What a full day! Of course, the temples, monuments and other sites were incredible. That's expected. Mansour was an excellent guide, who really took his time to explain the history, significance and context of the sites we visited. The car was clean and comfortable, and our driver, Hassan, was very friendly. During the tour, we had to find transportation back to Cairo for the next day. This is where Mansour went above and beyond, helping us with flight times and costs, and ultimately arranging a driver for us. We really can't thank him enough for the help. Only down sides were that the Valley of the Queens was closed, and we didn't end up with time for lunch. Overall, an excellent tour. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend.

Such an amazing tour!! Guide Baghdad was exceptional, his knowledge of Egypt and History is unmatched. He was super friendly and helped us alot by giving us tips and guidance. For lunch he organized a boat ride with delicious food on the Nile, truly unforgettable! We did Valley of the Kings and Queens, Hatchesut Temple and he even organized for us to see Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple at a great price! Would definitely recommend a tour with the guide named Baghdad !!

I have just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable and informative experience of the valley of the kings and the temple of Hapshepsut. Our driver Tha was incredibly kind and thoughtful at all times and we guided by an extremely knowledgeable, charming man called Abdelwahab. He was so attentive to our needs and has an encyclopaedic Egyptian trove of information to divulge. No hard sell of anything from either of these two very gentle men, in fact due to their wealth of experience I think they were able to steer us away from the tourist traps. Highly recommended
