We traveled around with our tour guide, Pedro, enjoying the breathtaking Andean landscape, our journey took us through the mountains. We witnessed local farmers working in the fields and livestock grazing peacefully. As we made our way to the Ingapirca Complex archaeological site in Ecuador, Pedro shared fascinating insights into the Cañari and Inca cultures. The day was packed with exciting stops, including Inca Face Mountain, a local cafe, and a chance to savor traditional foods from the region.

I had an excellent day with Edison, whose explanations about the site of Ingapirca and the Sanctuary of the Virgen del Rocio were very informative. Moreover, Edison is truly very kind, and it is very pleasant to discuss with him. And the meal is included in the price. As for the transportation provided in a private car, it is an advantage compared to the usual minibuses. He came to pick me up at my hotel and dropped me off on the way back in a neighborhood of Cuenca that he had recommended to me. I therefore highly recommend Polylepis Tours in turn.

The ruins in Ingapirca and the church in Biblianos are fantastic and I'm glad I went to see them. Guide Diego has encyclopedic knowledge about Ecuador and I learnt so much about the origins of its culture both at the sites and as we drove through the Andes.

My guide was Moses, and he spoke English and Spanish. He was very engaging and helpful. I had some altitude issues, and Moses was very understanding. I did the tour of the ruins and enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you, Moses.

Our guide Diego was excellent and gave us great details about the history of Ecuador on the way to the Cañari /Inca ruins at Ingapirca . He was also very knowledgeable about the Cañari and Inca history, culture and arquitecture of the ruins. He was pleasant, friendly and professional throughout and we really enjoyed his conversation and guiding.

We booked this tour in threes and it was quite wonderful! We wrote Edison (the owner) beforehand that we eat vegetarian and even that wish was taken into account. Our tour guide Sebastián gave us a small city tour of Cuenca and answered all our questions.
