A Cidadela (Jabal al-Qal'a): Situada na colina mais alta da cidade, a Cidadela é um sítio arqueológico com uma história que remonta à Idade do Bronze. Foi a antiga cidade de Rabbath-Ammon e mais tarde se tornou a capital romana, bizantina e umayyad. Principais locais dentro da Citadela incluem: O Templo de Hércules: um templo romano que data do século II dC. Umayyad Palace: Um complexo de edifícios do período Umayyad (século VIII dC). Museu Arqueológico da Jordânia: abriga uma coleção de artefatos de vários períodos históricos.
O anfiteatro romano: Localizado na área do centro da cidade, este impressionante anfiteatro romano foi construído no século 2 dC e poderia acomodar até 6.000 espectadores. Ainda é usado hoje em dia para eventos culturais e é um dos restos mais visíveis de Filadélfia romana (o nome romano de Amã).
Mesquita do Rei Abdullah I (A Mesquita Azul): Um marco icônico de Amã, facilmente reconhecível pela sua magnifica cúpula azul. É a única mesquita da cidade que abertamente acolhe visitantes não muçulmanos (com roupa apropriada, que é muitas vezes fornecida na entrada).

Este lago maciço de sal encontra-se a cerca de 1300 pés (400 metros) abaixo do nível do mar, tornando-se o ponto mais baixo da Terra. My daughter and I visited the Dead Sea based on the photos we saw online with the large, white salt crystals. We were both disappointed that the beach had none of the beautiful salt crystals. The beach was clean and the life guards provided us with clean towels and fresh water. There were plenty of outdoor and indoor showers to rinse the salt water and mud off your body. We also enjoyed the lunch at the hotel.

The tour was super worth it! Visited important sites in Amman and ended with a blast at the dead sea! The lunch at the hotel was a feast. The dead sea experience is one of a kind. Thank you to Bardaghawi. He was helpful and easy to talk to. I recommend this tour if you only have 1 day in Jordan.

This trip was really great. Mr. Mint made it even better. He was very knowledgeable and patient when we visited the sites. He even pointed out sites that were along the way. He also stopped to let us take pictures. You can tell tha he is very passionate about Jordan and the Jordanian culture. I highly recommend Mr. Mint and this excursion.

Amman Citadel is definitely worth visiting, a great site and great views of Amman. It also leaves plenty of time to go to the Dead Sea, which really is unlike any body of water you have ever been to! We had a lovely driver for the day, Mohamad, who was polite, cheerful, punctual and was an excellent driver! He was helpful with everything and we enjoyed his good company very much - thanks for the coffees, Mohamad! We didn't prebook the resort at the Dead Sea, so Mohamad did it for us. :) We recommend R&H VIP Transportation services for this kind of day trip.

We have a wonderful time to Petra with R&H VIP Transportation services and they pick us at the Deadsea area at 10 am. I am so happy to get this operator and they service us as a VIP guests, we can arrange our time and we can stop anywhere for took the photos, mineral waters are provided in the car is very clean and tidy. Thank you so much brother Mustafa; he is the person who drives us and he can speak English well, we've got a profesional guide and we can enter the Petra . Our tiket to Petra also includes horse riding. The tour was amazing. Hasan was very nice and even took me to the Baptism site in Jordan. He bought a delicious snack and water for me and made feel comfortable during the whole tour. The car was very clean, it had wifi, a place to charge your phone, and was very comfortable. I definitely recommend you to take this tour.

<p>Overall a really fun experience. My driver Bader was friendly, patient and nice! Definitely appreciated his service.</p> <p>The dead sea resort was gorgeous! I went during the low season, and got to share a well-managed private beach with only two other people. Keep in mind that will have to pay for the dead sea resort separately mentioned in the description. It was totally worth it!</p> <p>The only suggestion I would give is that the pre-tour communication can be better. The coordination emails did not seem as attentive. They can be more informative and friendly.</p>
