Zhinvali, também Jinvali, é um reservatório de água artificial localizado no rio Aragvi, na Geórgia. A construção da represa hidrelétrica formou o reservatório de Zhinvali. A barragem foi construída em 1986. Você ficará encantado com a cor da água perfeitamente azul cercada por montanhas.
A fortaleza de Ananuri é um complexo do castelo do século XVI no rio Aragvi. A fortaleza fica ao lado da famosa estrada militar georgiana, com vista para um grande lago Jinvali. Suas altas paredes de pedra protegem duas igrejas, uma torre de vigia e um reservatório. A fachada principal da igreja é lindamente esculpida com padrões de estilo animal, floral e celta.
Um fenômeno natural surpreendente - a confluência de dois rios com cores preto e branco de água
A próxima parada no caminho é Gudauri, uma estância de esqui notável na Geórgia. O resort está a uma altitude de 2217 metros acima do nível do mar. A primeira estação elevatória inferior está a 1.990 metros acima do nível do mar e a última, ou no topo, a estação está a 3.306 metros, chamada cimeira Sadzele. O resort oferece oportunidades de esqui de alta qualidade. A temporada de esqui dura de dezembro a abril.
O Monumento da Amizade Rússia-Geórgia ou o Monumento do Tratado de Georgievsk é um monumento construído em 1983 para celebrar o bicentenário do Tratado de Georgievsk e a contínua amizade entre a Geórgia Soviética e a Rússia Soviética. Vista incrível!

É o terceiro pico mais alto da Geórgia (depois do Monte Shkhara e Janga) e o sétimo maior pico das montanhas do Cáucaso. O Kazbek é também o segundo pico vulcânico mais alto do Cáucaso, depois do monte Elbrus. A cimeira situa-se directamente a oeste da cidade de Stepantsminda e é a característica geográfica mais proeminente da área. Monte Kazbek é o pico mais alto da Geórgia Oriental.
No caminho de volta para Tbilisi, pararemos em um dos restaurantes da aldeia de Pasanauri. Este lugar é considerado o berço dos bolinhos georgianos - Khinkali. Aqui você também pode experimentar peixe fresco do rio, cordeiro e muito mais.

This tour was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, everything was flawlessly organized and thoughtfully executed. My guide, Gio, was outstanding – incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about his country. He shared not only historical facts, but also cultural context and personal insights that gave real depth to the experience. It was a true pleasure to spend the day in his company. Equally impressive was driver, Pancho. He drove with great care and confidence, even on challenging mountain roads, and was always courteous, and attentive. His calm presence added a lot to the overall comfort of the day. The tour followed the itinerary exactly as promised, and every stop was both visually stunning and culturally enriching. The guide was excellent and all the info she gave about this and that made it a good tour. Hence, even tough the driving distance was significant we still had fun. The mountains were of course also very interesting to see.

I had an amazing day with Khatuna from friendly.ge exploring the Kazbegi area. I took a private tour to Kazbegi in August 2023. Aleksi was a great guide -- knowledgeable, thoughtful, and very flexible and accommodating. We were able to tack on a few additional sites I was interested in and he didn't charge me extra. Communication was very smooth. Thanks so much, Aleksi!

What a breathtaking tour! We went in March when the mountains are still snowy and the view was everything. Out guide, Aleksi, was also great, told us many things about the mountains, Georgian culture and more. He was very helpful and flexible with accommodating all our requests. We can only recommend this tour if you love the mountains and want a full day of eyecandy :)

We've had a wonderful day with Giorgi. It was both full of natural wonders and historical adventure. Through the entire trip we discussed architecture, Georgia's blockbuster history and unique culture and language. From ancient time through Golden era to the sorrow times of strife, Russian Imperial rule, being a part of USSR and back to independence, not historical stone was left unturned. It was accompanied by interesting anecdotes and spectacular views from the car windows. Giorgi was also accommodating when we wanted to take pictures outside of the standard itinerary. I think out of everything I've taken as a tour in Georgia, that was the most interesting one. I'd like to mention that he speaks both English and exceptionally fluent Russian so we were switching back-and-forth as required to understand each other. Keep it awesome, folks!
