O passeio começa no porto de Al Khor, que foi antes o centro do país para mergulho de pérolas e pesca. Um antigo quintal de reparação e renovação de navio. Depois disso, você visitará os mangroves de Al-Thakira. Que é uma das gemas escondidas do Qatar. Al-Thakhira Mangrove Forest é uma das florestas mais antigas e maiores do Qatar. Em seguida, você visitará Al Zubara Fort. Este forte do século XX é a estrutura mais nova e mais visível do Sítio Arqueológico de Al Zubarah, Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO. Um espécime puro de um forte árabe tradicional, com paredes de um metro de espessura guardadas.

Good tour for a quick glimpse into Qatar landscape and sites beyond the grounds of Doha. Saw the Purple Island, Al Zubara fort, Richard Serra art installation, Zakreet rock formations and ruins as well as the racing camels along the way. The tour started and ended within the scheduled times, and the journey was smooth. Muhammed Syed was a kind and friendly guide and made sure the tour was well-paced. It was a decent trip.

Excellent day trip with Adil he was very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for him. It’s a full day with lots of driving but so worth it for the history and sights. Adil gave us plenty of time at each stop and we have far more understanding and knowledge of the area than we ever thought we would. Great day Adil well done.
