Esta impressionante fortaleza era uma base usada pelas forças armadas para impedir os ataques e cercos mais difíceis. Em seguida, Nizwa Souq, um mercado local que oferece uma variedade de produtos, incluindo joias, cerâmica, peixes e carnes. Al Hamra para visitar a aldeia onde podemos experimentar como os habitantes locais criam um estilo de vida nos tempos antigos. Misfah al Abryeen aqui você verá o grande sistema de água Falaj que fornece água para a vegetação próxima. Existem inúmeras trilhas marcadas em toda a vila que é recomendado levar o seu tempo e explorar.

Itinerário
Partimos de Mascate para Nizwa, aproximadamente às 8h30, a antiga capital de Omã. Fazemos uma visita à famosa Fortaleza de Nizwa. Hoje, o forte é um museu que mostra a história do forte e arredores. Caminhando pela fortaleza, você pode ver vistas incríveis da cidade antiga e das montanhas próximas. Esta impressionante fortaleza era uma base usada pelos militares para adiar os ataques e cercos mais difíceis.
Ao lado da fortaleza está o grande Nizwa Souq, um mercado local que oferece uma variedade de produtos, incluindo joias, cerâmica, peixes e carnes.
Depois, partimos para Al Hamra para visitar a antiga vila, onde podemos experimentar como os habitantes locais criam um estilo de vida nos tempos antigos.
Após este passeio rápido, seguimos para Misfah al Abryeen, uma vila verdadeiramente intocada que fica na base de Jebel Shams. Aqui você verá o grande sistema de água Falaj que fornece água para a vegetação próxima. Existem inúmeras trilhas marcadas em toda a vila que é recomendado levar o seu tempo e explorar. No final da tarde, voltamos para Mascate, Omã.

A great day out in Nizwa, starting with a visit to the old city and the fort, which offered fascinating insight into the region’s history and culture. The trip continued on to Al Hamra and Misfah, both of which were highlights with their traditional architecture and scenery. Our family had a wonderful 5 night trip in Oman. We booked our itinerary with Star Tour Oman and our guide:Khalid AlRaqadi was amazing! He catered our experience to our needs and was patient with our children. We had an amazing time hiking Wadi Shab, exploring Nizwa and touring through Muscat. My mum and I spent three incredible days with our tour guide Ali and learned that saying goodbyes was much harder than we expected! :) Ali looked after us really well every day and treated us with the most delicious Karak chai on the way to all different beautiful places. We started with a Muscat tour, continued with the Wadi Bani Khalid and Wahiba Sands the next day and finished our three-day experience with Nizwa and Misfat Al Abriyeen tour. The tours were truly fascinating, everything was incredibly well-planned, communication was very smooth from the beginning: starting from scheduling the trips with the fantastic assistance of Roda and finishing with Ali constantly keeping in touch with us, always being so accommodating and hospitable throughout the whole time. We cannot thank you enough for such a warm welcome to Oman and we know we will be back inshAllah! شكرا جزيلا and see you soon Ali!
