Fabulous day, tour guide Stephen was very knowledgeable and funny. Coach was spotless and comfortable. Would highly recommend and would do it again!
Stephen was great. He is a local which makes a huge difference. He is passionate about Belfast and the area. Not being on a large bus is really nice. The coach was new and very comfortable.
Steve did a great job of providing interesting history and facts about the places we visited! Highly recommend!
Each destination we visited was open to the public. If you wanted to enter the “visitor center” an additional entrance fee is needed. All sights we visited had information markers if we wanted to know more about the location. We did not pay extra to enter the “museum “ or gift shop.
Be prepared to learn a great deal of information and to be presented with a very balanced, objective view of all sides of the violent conflict. Our tour guide, Jim, shared the history of The Troubles with compassion and empathy, with a focus on the many ways the conflict impacted victims and survivors to this day. He emphasized the learning and hope we can take from how the society has survived this tragic period.
Wonderful tour. Beautiful scenery, helpful descriptions of the history, geography, lore, and uniqueness of the Northern Ireland coast. Our guide Paul was amazing. Funny and deep and insightful all at the same time. Also navigated some challenges on the narrow coastal town roads that were congested due to a local funeral with patience, skill, and humor.
Lovely day! Our tour guide was informative, a local, and very friendly. Had a great time. Like that he was punctual
This guided day tour was a highlight of our holiday! Our driver, Paul, was knowledgeable & funny, and he engaged with everyone in our small group. The coach was very comfortable & the stops were well paced, with enough time at each to fully appreciate them. (One tip - take a packed lunch, as there isn't a specific stop for this). A really great day - thank you Paul! Highly recommended.
The tour is exactly as advertised, and the order of stops may be different, but I think this was done in order to arrive when there were smaller crowds. Excellent tour guide / driver. But was very comfortable and smaller than expected (which is a plus)!
Our driver/guide was awesome, incredibly knowledgeable and professional driver for the narrow roads and rainy conditions. The giant’s causeway was all we expected and will be memorable for us all. We were there, unfortunately, during a time of uncertainty due to protests in Belfast. When we arrived back to the bus after our Giants Causeway experience, we were advised by Paul that the tour had to be cut short and for everyone’s safety we would return directly to the dropoff location back in Belfast. While, agreed, this was the right thing to do, we did miss three locations that were included in the tour, and we never heard a word from the tour group afterwards about any way to make it up on another date or a partial refund. I understand it was not their fault but customer satisfaction was not high on their agenda either.
Thank you for your feed back We can assure you customer satisfaction and safety is number one on our agenda Our main priority was our passengers and their safety. Both management along with consultation with Paul decided not to take any risks, money was the very last thing on our minds. We are very sorry to hear you believe something outside our control was in any way an excuse to cut the tour short. We were very relieved when everyone arrived back in Belfast safely, let us know how much money you want refunded. We will always put customer safety first. Regards
