A Cromwell Classic Car Wine Tours, credenciada pela Qualmark, é única entre as excursões de degustação de vinhos em Central Otago. Este não é um passeio rápido de mini-ônibus abarrotado de estranhos, mas de dois a quatro amigos, familiares ou associados viajando em um Mercedes 300SE clássico. A Bacia de Cromwell tem uma história notável em grande parte não contada, ofuscada na maioria das garrafas de vinho por duas palavras: Central Otago. O fato é que a Bacia de Cromwell tem, de longe, a maior concentração de vinhedos e vinícolas de Central Otago. Mais de 40 na última contagem. Pinot Noir mundialmente reconhecido, bem como excelentes Pinot Gris, Chardonnay e Sauvignon e muitos mais. Todos são produzidos a partir de vinhas que crescem nos solos de xisto da Bacia de Cromwell.

Bob knows a lot more about wine than he admits, and is a great host who takes you to interesting wineries. The lunch with wine pairings was super.
We had an amazing day exploring the wineries in Central Otago with Bob as part of our honeymoon. His company, hospitality and local knowledge were all amazing. He curates a unique itinerary and utilizes his excellent relationships with local wineries. We cannot recommend him more highly.

More than a wine tour, it’s an experience, from the old school immaculate Mercedes, Bob our host was clearly highly regarded with the wineries we went too and knowledgeable to the area, highly recommend to anyone looking looking for a fun day out.

We absolutely loved our day and tour with Bob. He was welcomed warmly to every vineyard we visited so his reputation is clearly a great one. He was friendly and picked fantastic wineries! We had a great trip with Bob in his classic blue Mercedes. A great story teller & some excellent wine tastings. The four of us enjoyed a unique experience. We are wine savvy and felt Bob was able to reflect this in the chosen vineyards we visited. Lots of laughs and a great relaxed feel. Highly recommended. This day we will never forget! and would do again in a heartbeat. As part of our Honeymoon, we had the most amazing day with Bob, his passion for the region, its Wines and his fabulous Mercedes made this NO ordinary Wine Tour! we were not just taken to the well-known Vineyards instead, we were treated to some wonderful boutique Vineyards where we experienced not only the tastings but met the Wine Makers themselves and it was fascinating hearing their own individual stories, it gave us a whole new appreciation and education of the entire process. My husband was a Whiskey only man prior to this and now has been converted! Cannot wait until the next time, thanks again Bob.
