Cenários de tirar o fôlego, marcos históricos, lagos famosos, castelos, jardins e destilarias. Este passeio lhe dará uma verdadeira experiência nas Terras Altas Escocesas. Lembre-se de levar sua câmera… Não tenho certeza do que é um Sassannach, venha descobrir :) A Go Highlands atende apenas pequenos grupos de até 7 em nossos passeios, o que significa que você sempre terá a melhor experiência absoluta.

É aqui que termina a primeira temporada ... a Batalha de Culloden, veja o pequeno hoose que Claire transforma em um pequeno hospital improvisado, então os rapazes o usam para se esconder. Um lugar solene, a última batalha travada entre escoceses, clãs, ingleses e até alguns irlandeses
Aqui você também terá vistas fabulosas do Loch Ness e terá a chance de descer até as margens na esperança de ver o 'cavalo d'água' que tanto encantou Claire Randall (ou Nessie, como ela é mais conhecida por aqui!)
Nesta paragem teremos algum tempo para provar este premiado Gin. Levando o nome da linha de falha que divide as Terras Altas, a nossa destilaria utiliza ingredientes naturais e locais para lhe dar um gostinho do nosso majestoso ambiente. Great Glen é a mais nova e, orgulhosamente, a menor destilaria artesanal da Escócia. Aproveitando os elementos de um lugar selvagem, este gin suave e terroso é uma carta de amor à natureza.
O Castelo de Urquhart é provavelmente um dos castelos mais fotografados da Escócia, datado do século 13 (mas há assentamentos encontrados no local que remontam aos tempos pré-históricos). Sua posição no Loch oferece o cenário perfeito para ver e fotografar o Loch Ness ( com ou sem o monstro).
A bela vila de Beauly era para onde Claire e Jamie estavam indo no início da primeira temporada. Beauly Priory era uma comunidade monástica valliscauliana localizada na "Insula de Achenbady", agora Beauly, Inverness-shire. Provavelmente foi fundada por volta de 1230. Não se sabe ao certo quem foi o fundador, diferentes fontes dão Alexandre II da Escócia ou John Byset.

Great tour with really interesting stories! Our guide, Sarah, was fantastic. We had plenty of time at each stop and it was very well organized.
George was great fun! Knowledgeable and entertaining! Great insider info, best the coaches to main attractions. Accommodated late cruise ship arrival. Took input from passengers. Prioritize remaining time well. Highly recommend. Max- 6 passengers on our mini bus.

Our tour guide, Sarah, picked us up & dropped us off at cruse port. She did an outstanding job & was extremely knowledgeable. It is a must do if in the area.
We loved this tour! Although it was a cold, rainy June day, it let us know how the locals feel there. Saw beautiful places, and learned a lot from our knowledgeable tour guide George, who also has a good sense of humor. I would hands down recommend it to anyone, and would take the tour again if traveling with a friend.
We spent a wonderful day in Inverness with Sarah! She was extremely knowledgeable with her tour and the history or legends that went with each site - nice being with a local! She picked us up at the port and got us back in plenty of time. She had a great personality and this made for us to have a wonderful day. Definitely recommend her and Go Highlands tours.
Book this tour. Now. Full stop. George is like an old Scottish friend that you wanna hang out with, drink whiskey & learn all you can about his homeland Inverness & all things Scottish whilst teasing him about being known everywhere you go. What was to be a 4 person trip became a private tour w/ my sister and I, George & his wee dog, Leo. We overstayed at Clava Cairns & Culloden learning all we could; picking George’s endless depths of knowledge & literally getting wrapped up in a kilt. Then on to Great Glen Distillery for-hands down-the best gin I’ve ever had. A bite of soup & onward to Urquhart Castle & more silly questions for my new best friend, George. Then true disappointment when the tour was closing out because he’s a gem & we didn’t want to stop chatting. Nor did we want to say bye to Leo. Grand, grand time. Do this tour. Get George. He’s a wealth of knowledge & a helluva guy, plus the kilt is 👌🏽 We learned more in 6 hrs than I’ve ever learned about Scotland in my life. So hit book. Now. You’ll see what I mean. Thanks, George! Those crazy sisters from Maine.
George was a fantastic guide; had a great, dry humor and was very informative. He made suggestions about a possible change to our itinerary and let our small group decide which option we preferred. I would happily book with him again if returning to the Inverness area.
George was a joy to travel with. He has so much knowledge and passion, and it really made the day special, so much so that as we walked back to the ship with the other group who was on the excursion, we were all talking about coming back to the Highlands and booking a longer tour with his company. This tour was perfect as a shore excursion with no concerns about timing, and nimble response to the weather. We really loved our experience and couldn't recommend it enough.
Sarah was very informative about all the areas that we visited. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who is or is not an Outlander fan.
