Great trip, everything went smooth. The driver was on time. He took us from one place to the other and was clear with how much time we had to spend at each place and where he would pick us up at the end. So, it’s basically a driver service, not a guide, but this is what we expected.
This place was recommended to us buy the concierge at our hotel on The Palm. Personally I found this a bit overrated. While the spectacle itself is quite impressive the variety of plants is extremely limited making it feel a bit “same” all the way through. The aspect which caused the most disappointment was one of the food vendors that surround the garden itself. We picked the roasted chestnut and roasted corn on the cob vendor. The price was not advertised but I heard him quote the price to the customer ahead of me. On the basis of that I ordered I portion of each. I should have checked what I was charged right then and regretted it later. I believe I paid four times what the quoted price was. I was charged AUD 92.02 or AED 237.50 for something I believe should have been AUD 36 or AED 92.92. Please be aware. Ask the price and make sure you’re only charged what you agreed to pay. Personally I don’t think this place is worth the money. When you add the taxi fare, entry fee and cost of snacks and realize it’s a tourist trap, there are much better ways to enjoy your money.
Hi Cozi1968, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your visit to the Miracle Garden. We were genuinely concerned to read about your experience with the food vendor pricing; that sounds incredibly frustrating and is certainly not the standard of hospitality we want for any visitor to Dubai. However, we would like to kindly clarify that Desert Thrill Tourism did not conduct this tour. Based on your mention of the hotel concierge and taking a taxi, it appears you visited the gardens independently rather than as a guest on one of our organized excursions. Because we weren't involved in your visit, this 3-star review unintentionally impacts our company's reputation and rating for services we did not provide. When travelers book with us, we pride ourselves on providing a curated, stress-free experience to help them avoid the 'tourist traps' and pricing issues you encountered. We truly value your warning to other travelers to stay vigilant with vendors, but we would be very grateful if you would consider removing or moving this review to the correct page for the Miracle Garden itself. Wishing you many better experiences on your future travels! Best regards, Daman
We found that we did not need more than one hour to visit and see The Miracle Garden. When you go to the Global Village at 4:00, it appears to be underwhelming, but when it gets dark out, with all the lights, it is gorgeous. You need days to get through the countries represented. We did not do any amusement rides.
Waited 2 hours sitting in the lobby. There was no communication from anyone to let us know the reason for delay. Driver didn’t appear to care for our inconvenience at all. He was helpful and polite but not very professional.
The driver, Chamanzada, arrived early. He was friendly and knowledgeable. There is no personal tour guide as listed, just a driver. We were dropped off at the Miracle Gardens. Lots and lots of flowers. Many floral displays. It was pretty cool, but crowded with families. Then off to the Global Village. We really didn't know what to expect. Again, very crowded with families. It was basically a huge food court with vendors selling clothes, fabrics, jewelry and spices. The Global Village was disappointing since I don't care for the foreign foods available. Not much American foods. Very few sit down restaurants - mainly to go and you hope for somewhere to sit. It was a 5-6 hour tour .... we were done in 4 hours It was something to do. Miracle Gardens score an 8/10 Global Village score a 4/10
The compositions of living flowers are like something out of a fairytale. It takes 4-5 hours to see everything. It's best to enter the garden two or three hours before sunset and stay after sunset. The garden is worth seeing during the day and with the lights on.
The gardens were absolutely beautiful. We had a group, so the check in was expedited. Our driver was great and we were allowed enough time to thoroughly enjoy the excursion.
Miracle garden was beautiful and 2 hours was more than enough time to cover the sites. Global village was spectacular and comes to life around 6pm when most entertainment starts. Similiar to a smaller version of a Disney Epcot. Jaswail our driver was communicative and pleasant and a wonderful tour host who made our experience outstanding.
That was one of my best experience, I love every second of it. Definitely will recommend to family and friend.
I initially booked this trip for two people since the price for one person and two were the same, ($230, which did not make sense to me). In the morning I’d the trip, I contacted Viator to see what was the pick up time. I did not receive any response. I then contacted them again given the provided contact info, at least three additional times. I finally ended up messaging customer support around 1pm (tour started at 3 pm). She informed me that she was looking into the issue. Around 3 pm, I requested a refund for the transportation. At this point, my friend had another event scheduled early the next morning and decided not to go. So, I ended up going solo since this was my first trip to Dubai. Customer service refused to refund me for transportation or the total of the tickets and still could not provide me with an ESA for the driver. The driver Jaiswal ended up picking me up at 5 pm, two hours after start time. The Gardens and Global Village were both beautiful places to visit. The service through this particular company was unprofessional and Viator did not handle the issue well. For the price of the ticket, I expected to experience the full tour and I missed 2.5 hours with absolutely no accommodations or refunds for this. There was also a couple with a toddler with me that was disappointed that they had traveled far from home and waited on the driver with no response. Had I not reached out to Viator, I would have never been picked up for this tour and they did not care at all about it. I’ve seen other tours to Miracle Gardens and Glibal Village that are sold separately and I would suggest choosing another company to book through. Or, purchase the pass without the driver and just take an Uber (Careem) or taxi would be easier. Jaiswal was actually great once he finally picked us up. He was vary apologetic and waited on us for the duration of the tour. It was easy to WhatsApp him to get in touch when we were ready to leave.
