We really enjoyed our time with Max. It was like we had known each other a long time. He showed us some interesting local cuisine and explained why each item was important. If you’re in La Paz right now you need to do this tour.
This was an enjoyable, relaxed tour with a friendly guide. It seems to me they should rename the tour because it’s not focused on beer. It was almost a side note that we stopped and picked up a can of beer to try. I also noticed that the drinks in the photos we’re not anything that we had. We had one small traditional alcoholic drink at the end which was good. It was nice to try a few unusual things that I would not have experienced. I’m glad I did this
My friend and I went on this tour led by Mateo and the tour was great! Mateo was very knowledgeable and created a fun and welcoming atmosphere. We laughed a lot, ate some really amazing food, and made a really great friend in Mateo. Would highly recommend doing this tour
We did 3 tours with Red Cap and enjoyed them all so much! Rem led one of them and was really knowledgeable and we enjoyed walking through the markets! Matteo led our other 2 tours and we absolutely loved him! He’s so sweet and clearly loves his job! He took us to the witches market and accommodated my vegetarian needs on the food tour (which is not an easy task). We felt like we learnt so much about La Paz on all the tours and would absolutely recommend them!
This was a fun tour with Matteo. We got to learn a bunch about Bolivian food and try a mix of street food and cafeterias and restaurants. My only wish is that we ended on something sweet (it was earlier in the tour). The food choices were all interesting and yummy and totally safe. Matteo was a lot of fun and spoke impeccable English. Highly recommend!
Might be great but our flight was delayed. We let the operator know but they said the guide would only wait for 5-7 minutes and then consider it a no show so we had to cancel
No prior communication after you book the trip, only instruction. We was 5 minutes late another group of 3 people from Spain was 7 minutes late Bus left according to local People At that point we still we didn’t got any phone call from the tour guide, To other companies, they are not reliable.
Make sure your stomach is empty when you do this tour as there is a lot of food to consume. Thanks to Mateo and his trainees for showing me some very interesting and tasty Bolivian street food and restaurant cousine. Also the extra information and laughter was appreciated. Well done!
Four of us did the foodie walking tour with Red Cap and we had a great time. Our guide Matteo (Matt) was fantastic and also had a wicked sense of humour. The variety of food available to try is great. Highly recommend!
Ate soooo much good food on this tour. Guide was awesome. Fun night out seeing the city. There was so much food but not so much beer
