Firstly I have to give a most heart felt thank you to Phuong (Amy) for her amazing insight , food choices, history of the amazing street food on offer in Hoi an. It was high on my wish list to do a food tour early on my Vietnam visit to get me out there and try some meals I wouldn’t normally try. This tour not only did this but I now feel confident to go on my food adventures and enjoy everything on offer. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who is wanting to try authentic local food. Another recommendation I would make is skip lunch. You will be as full as an egg afterwards. We had a wonderful experience with Emily. Emily generously shared her culture and heritage and we learnt so much about the history of Ancient Town as part of this food experience. Food highlights for us were the Bah Mi,White Rose and Dumpling, Brown Noodle and Pancake.

I have only positive things to say about this food tour. Emily our guide was absolutely amazing. She introduced us to new foods and also provided rich insight into Vietnamese culture and life, and provided us with plenty of amazing recommendations for the rest of our trip. It was also so affordable for what the experience is, which is also great. We were with Emily from 5pm until about 9.30pm and loved every second. We went to places which were busier and also small, more quiet places, which provided a great atmosphere and taught us so much about the local food. Every dish we ate was amazing and we were able to learn the proper ways to eat everything. We loved talking with Emily about absolutely anything and she was so happy to answer our many questions. This has been the highlight of my trip. I genuinely cannot recommend this enough and I am extremely thankful for this amazing experience! Thank you Emily!

Emily was truly one of the loveliest people we have ever met. She was so warm, extremely knowledgeable and very engaged in us and what we wanted to learn and gain from the experience. The food was all amazing, and we loved every place she took us. She also explained every dish’s ingredients, origin and the story behind the restaurant, while also enthusiastically answering every question we had. We were able to try several traditional Hoi An dishes from locals, dishes that I would have never otherwise heard of and they were all amazing. The whole experience changed our Hoi An and Vietnam experience for the better. It introduced us to a series of restaurants and dishes we could try again in the days to come, and Emily also provided a myriad of recommendations for where else to go. I suggest doing this tour early in your trip so you know where to go the following days! I have never been on a better tour, and I cannot recommend it enough. I am very grateful to Emily and hope we meet again one day!

Billy was great in organizing the tour, asking for things I’d like to try and then trying to fit them into the tour. Instructions on when and where to meet were clear. The tour guide Hoa was amazing - very engaging and knowledgeable. We tried a wide variety of food and at each stop she asked if we wanted more of any of the dishes, or to try something else. She even followed up the next day with suggestions on breakfast/lunch foods we didn’t get to eat on the night tour. Overall a great experience, and exceptional value for money

Every part of this tour exceeded all my expectations. I have never been on a good tour before, but I have officially been converted and will always do one in new cities. All thanks to the wonderful guide Emily, she was so kind and had such interested information about every dish and local spot we went to. We went to 6 different spots and tried 7 dishes, everything was delicious. I recommend to everyone visiting Hoi an, as it really helped me understand and see it through a locals eyes, which was beautiful.

The food tour was great. Billy set us up with our guide Emily and she brought us to some incredible places. We tried a wide variety of dishes and it was perfectly paced with lovely short walks through the city. She also shared so much about the history of Hoi An and taught us about local customs. We would highly recommend this tour!

Just finished the best food tour in Hoi An with Flower. She is smart, caring and passionate about food in her hometown. We walked laneways and dined at eateries only the locals would know. The flavours amazing and so fresh! Flower very knowledgeable about origins of dishes and we had lots of photo opportunities in this pretty town. It’s a good tour to do at the beginning of your Hoi An holiday as you will want to be coming back to many of the discovered eateries. Thanks for organising such a great tour 😋

This was the best street food tour I have ever been on. Our guide Flower was amazing. She was friendly, funny and very informative about all of the dishes and Hoi An. Every dish we tried was sooo delicious! I loved all of the little laneways we walked through and every place we visited. I would 100% recommend taking this tour. So much food is included and it is such a fun activity to do while you are there. Sampling all the different dishes in one night was just such a highlight of our stay.
