We spent the day with our amazing tour guide Scott! He took us to explore St. Andrews and he was extremely knowledgeable about all of the sites. He told great stories about everything we saw and my parents and I walked away with such an appreciation of the city / culture. We couldn’t recommend booking with Scott more!!! I can’t wait to come back to explore even more of beautiful Scotland!

We recently returned from an unforgettable trip to Scotland, and we can’t say enough good things about the experience! From the breathtaking landscapes to the rich history around every corner, it was a journey we’ll treasure forever. A huge part of what made this trip so special was our driver and guide, Adrian. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about Scottish history, culture, and hidden gems we would have never discovered on our own. His passion for his country was infectious, and his stories added so much depth and meaning to every stop along the way. On top of that, Adrian was friendly, professional, and made us feel completely at ease from day one. We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to Iconic Tours for organizing such a seamless and personalized experience. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and we always felt well taken care of. If you’re planning a trip to Scotland and want more than just the typical tourist route, we highly recommend Iconic Tours – and be sure to ask for Adrian if you can! We had an absolute blast while getting a comprehensive yet entertaining tour of Edinburgh and surrounding areas with Scott, whom we recommend in the highest regard! We were very satisfied with the day, which just flew by, seeing many sites but being ery informed of these and associated histories. The highlight of our 14 day trip to the UK was the two tours we with Iconic Tours. We did a 1/2 day walking tour of Edinburgh and a full day driving tour of the Highlands. Gary was our guide for both and we had a great time with lots of laughs both days. His knowledge of Scottish history is impressive and his ability to quote lines from Monty Python and the Holy Grail kept us laughing. Thanks to Iconic Tours for helping make our trip fantastic! Booking the tours was easy and Will made sure they were customized to our interest. The communication from Will was great. Highly recommend!!!!

We were in Edinburgh last week for one day on a British Isles Cruise. We had prearranged for a private driving tour for the 6 people in our party prior to leaving. We were notified via email that our driver/guide Chris of Monarch Tours Viator Tour operated through local Monarch Tours) would be at the end of the pier just as we docked. A few days before arrival we again received this email assurance. Chris could not have been nicer, more professional, or friendly. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to hear about any points of interest we'd like knitted into his ideas for a day in Edinburgh. He took us to all the highlights that he felt we should see with commentary and explanations all along the way, answered questions in detail. One in our party wanted to find a St. Andrews golf shirt and Chris took the time to research this while we were in Edinburgh Castle with a castle dedicated guide. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs, was always very detailed about where he'd meet us if we were in a place that he did not come in to with us. We were looking to have lunch in a typical put and he took us to one that was excellent and reasonable -- no tourist trap. He joined us and we thoroughly enjoyed his obvious enthusiasm for his country. He explained typical Scottish foods and we tried haggis there........ which he also explained just how it is made and how to enjoy it. I could more about this excursion -- I would definitely book this rather than take a shore excursion through the ship with 40 people on a bus........ and for more money per person. This was so personal, it was just perfect.
