A partir daí, você terá o controle dele.

This is a REALLY unique and special experience. This ranch supports conservation of not only the Donkeys, but of the local sea turtles. They have such a special mission and the animals are clearly well cared for and loved. Our guides José and Abel were absolutely amazing. It’s clear Jose has been with the ranch for a long time with how the donkeys respected him and he knew all of their quirks. And Abel, my goodness we could not have asked for a better guide to educate us on the ecosystem, Mexican history, plants/animals. I highly recommend this tour for animal lovers, people that like unique experiences and the view that you hike to is absolutely stunning. I have never done an excursion like this before and that’s the goal for us when on vacation - making once in a lifetime memories and this was definitely the case.
We enjoyed the view from the hike and our guides were very nice. However, what was advertised as a 3.75 excursion lasted maybe half that long. Also, we were promised snacks and were not given any food. I cannot recommend this as good value for money.
Rancho Carisuva is truly a special experience. The ranch is a sanctuary and their tours are filled with passion because the volunteers care about their work! They are conservationists and advocate for the welfare of the animals. The donkey hike was spectacular and our guides, Max & Margot, were kind, personable, and knowledgeable. Our driver was safe and punctual. I highly recommend this unique experience. All the tours at Rancho Carisuva support the rescue efforts of the ranch. There is heart at this place and it hosts the most fulfilling tours.
I really enjoyed this activity. This is a good tour for animal lovers or someone who wants something slow paced and different. The staff was polite and very knowledgeable about the donkeys and the history of the area.
Great experience for animal lovers. You are paired with a wonderful donkey for a hike through the desert to an amazing vista where you can spot whales cruising on the pacific coast during season of course. You then continue down the beach with your trusty donkey partner. Afterwards you can stay and enjoy the farm and or the beach. It is a great eco friendly experience.
You should be in pretty good physical condition just because there are some small hills and deep sand we walked through, plus you have to try to stay in front of your donkey which is easier said than done! But overall we really enjoyed it. The guide (don't remember her name-she was from France) was very patient, sweet, and knowledgeable. The donkeys were adorable and they sometimes got a little feisty but were fun to be around. If you love animals you will probably enjoy this experience. The ocean views are incredible and almost worth the price of the excursion itself!
Great easy hike with cute donkeys and lots of whale sightings. Guide was great and knowledgeable about land, sea, and air
We had a great time! My adult daughter found this activity and I’m so glad we did it. Our guide Roman was great! He was always looking out for us and very kind to the donkeys. The donkeys were great as well. Just be prepared for hiking on dense fine sand. All the staff were fabulous and the facility is very nice too. Enjoyed the treats for the donkeys and hikers at the end! Unique experience!
It's a really fun and unique experience. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. The donkeys were adorably stubborn yet cooperative. The walk was beautiful; we got to see a lovely view of the beach and the ocean. A great family activity or if you're in the mood for something different while supporting a great cause.
The rest of my family went horseback riding (and loved it), but I chose the burro walk. It was just me (a female of somewhat advanced age), Jade (a lovely young woman) and Felipe, our recalcitrant burro. I had a great time, but Felipe made it a better story by being a rather reluctant walker. Jade handled him well, and we completed the walk to the beach (amazing close-by whale sightings) and to the overlook (more whales!). On our way back, we even posed for California tourists who wanted a picture of us(!) with Felipe. Just for the record, the walk to the beach is through fairly deep, uncompacted sand so it's unsuitable for people who might have balance issues or prefer secure footing.
