Excursão de Barco em Angra dos Reis com Almoço

It was a very beautiful, sunny day; we were able to do the entire excursion without problems, everything as we had contracted.

We had an amazing day on the water. Our guide was fun and friendly.

The experience was disappointing and put the bus passengers at risk. To begin with, our hotel pickup—originally scheduled for 7:00 AM—did not arrive until 8:30 AM. What might have seemed like a mere scheduling mishap at first soon escalated into mechanical issues with the bus, which made countless stops before finally reaching our destination in Angra dos Reis. Afterward, we boarded a vessel named *Barco Tropical*; during the second stop—just after the Blue Lagoon—a fire broke out inside the engine room, causing significant alarm among the passengers on board. After half an hour, the mechanical issue was resolved, and we continued our journey. Furthermore, the port usage fee—which TripAdvisor had explicitly stated to us in writing would be 25 reais—was arbitrarily raised to 30 reais, with no explanation provided and in complete disregard of the email sent by your company. We finished the tour of Ilha Grande quite late—it was already nightfall—only to be loaded back onto the very same bus that had brought us there that morning. The bus continued to suffer from the same mechanical problems, breaking down repeatedly. Eventually, arrangements were made with another company to transport us back to Copacabana using a combination of a bus and a van. This entire ordeal demonstrates a profound lack of respect for the passengers and subjected them to unnecessary danger.

Pre-visit: your operator is not reachable as it changed from Amazing RJ to Thiago Ribeiro Lemos. TripAdvisor emailed to help us get in contact while no one picked up phone. Pick up location: we took 35 min uber to arrive 6:40 and no one responded via phone until 7:10. Finally Thiago showed up with double decker bus. That was impressive. It then circled for about two hours with more pick ups until we got on freeway. 2 hour Drive: it was scenic and had one pit stop. Don’t use restroom on bus. Thiago was collecting excursions (jet ski, snorkel set, photos), add on’s, tax, and others the entire drive. Gathering place: met up with two more tour buses to load on boat. First reaction was the boat is loaded to max capacity. First stop for snorkel: very short and no fish, couldn’t swim fast enough to check out the small island. Water was salty as expected. Second stop for snorkel: much better with overwhelming amount of fish since they feed them and they flap all over you. Water was not as clear but you can see the bottom without corals or plants. Third stop for lunch: this was a mayhem as multiple boats converged to dump hungry tourists for lunch. We were all hungry and ate anything in sight. Use bathroom at your own risk - we had to use manual buckets to flush others’ leftover excrement (close to camping experience). Some tourists even walked in with bare feet. Any drink or desert is extra. Last stop: very small cove with debris everywhere in water. We hopped in the water but others chose to stay on. All in all, it was worth the price if you like to sit and wait around. It was a large group experience that some may not prefer. You end up getting back to city by 9 pm ish, then loop around for drop off. We requested to leave the group 9:30p to be first dropped off. Thiago waited until we got the uber rides. I think Thiago genuinely cares for the tourists under his care, he took attendance and made sure no one is left behind.

A couple also join us Santino & Maria, on this tour, we book by our hotel Windsor Martinique Hotel in Copacabana. The bus ride was great comfortable, the guide was a female don’t remember her name didn’t talk much. The Lagoa Azul(Blue Lagoon) was beautiful. I didn’t like that they ran out of snorkeling gears. Wasn’t enough to go around. The Araca beach was a messy to much debris floating everywhere, trees branches, leaves, trash. Not many got into that water. The finally stop was Gipoia Island beautiful background rock, near where boats passed. The boat was not cleans, too many people on one boat. The foods look good and drinks did do either. The entertainment was good but didn’t last only, didn’t get everything involved. The stop to have lunch buffet was outside the food was ok, was very unexpected place. Too many people at one time hard get seats and need to be cleanness. Too many people in February 2026. I give this tour a rate of 5 out 10 only because I enjoy get in water because it was hot. And it cost too much rent vest to swim $35 reals. It should be included with the tour. Highly recommend at your risk. It was much better when we took the tour in May 2024. More Organized and real nice restaurant in town we walk to.

The blue lagoon was gorgeous and the itinerary was nice. The food was great. Did not feel overcrowded. Organization for pick up was excellent. Fabio was an excellent guide!

It was amazing all the tours, we knew fantastic places, and I especially loved Angra dos Reis and cable arrange was a unique experience

The tour deserves for the beauty of the landscapes, whether the lagoons surrounded by dunes or the ocean beaches that you find yourself immersed in situations of rare natural beauty. Nice tour with a great guide.
