We’ve booked a 2 day 1 night Chobe National Trip with the Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours. Highly recommend this company, everything was handled really seamlessly, starting with Vic Falls transfer to Chobe and back, the accommodation, catering and of course game drives and cruises - everything was top notch. The communication along the way was clear and we always knew what to do next. Most importantly, we were able to see so many animals up close, including lions, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles and many more!

We took the 2-day overnight tour to Chobe National Park. We had an excellent experience with Zambezi Expeditions who organized an amazing itinerary and were always available and even flexible when we asked them for a last minute change of plans. I recommend taking the Chobe tour for at least 2 days; most people take the day tour from Victoria Falls, but miss the morning game drive in which you see different things than the day. We commented 100% this agency, very professional and friendly, were concerned to know us and make us feel special. Thank you so much!!

The whole trip was never described in much detail. Example, what is a dorm tent? Turned out to be nothing we would stay in. Thank goodness we were able to upgrade to rooms for $115 additional per night. The actual safari pieces were okay, good guides on all of them. Resort is rather run down and staff, while very friendly are really disorganized. Food in restaurant is not very good at all. The restaurant closes before dinner thus forcing you to eat at their buffet for $24 USD. Very limited options and very simple and basic food. I felt ripped off being forced to eat there. Also with the safari/boat tours it felt like you were being passed off between multiple tour operators. I would not recommend booking through Viator again as it was impossible to get clear information on the package anywhere. Do your own research and book direct with tour operators themselves. You could do this trip for half the price.
Thank you very much for the feedback. A point of correction. You booked through Viata fully understanding what you were booking. I personally did a briefing for all 3 of you Jim,Mike and David and i clearly explained everything about your accommodation set up and all off you opted for an upgrade to rooms instead of a Dorm tent. I called the lodge asking about the price of an upgrade and i was given 115 USD per room you were listening and YOU approved it that you want an upgrade. We therefore upgraded you as per your request. I totally disagree with you saying What is a dorm tent? Turned out to be nothing but you opted for an upgrade. You can ask Mike and David after the Safari they told me that the Safari was exceptional. I also remember after the trip you were saying the Visa fees were also included and we had to open your booking reference explaining you that Visa fees were not part of the itinerary.
The guides picked us up in time and helped with all customs formalities. On the first day the game drive was perfect, but the boat was very overcrowded which made the whole thing uncomfortable. On the second day we didn't see much during the game drive. The say it was due to the night rain. However, the boat was perfect. There was no one on board, except 5 of us and the captain which was amazing and we saw a lot.

It was wonderful experience- from the very beginning. First contact with Silence was smooth, instant and very kind. All the guides (David, Cobra), drivers (Oscar and others) and people who were cooperating with us really did their best to make us feel special. And of course beauty of nature discovered during the trip was breathtaking. Priceless memories- will stay with us for ever :)

The whole tour was organized perfectly, from picking up in Vic Falls, the entire Chobe NP experience to the way back. Even though we chose the cheap option, everything was above our expectations - accommodation, food, guides (special greetings to Cobra on land and David on water). I have no words to describe the Chobe adventure, it's just a must to go there and see the heaven on earth!

Sometimes there aren't enough words to describe how greatfull one is. That happened to us with Oscar and his team. Everything was organized perfectly and Oscar really did his best to make us feel safe and comfortable. Chobe National Park is amazing and we were able to see lions very close. Having booked with Zambezi Expedition we didn't have to worry about anything and could enjoy our experience to the fullest. Oscar drove us back from Botswana to the Vic Falls and we also made the Sunset Cruise. A very nice experience and the staff is so lovely and caring. It's not only about the wonderfull nature and animals...with Oscar and his team it feels like meeting family. We will never forget these days and we will keep Zambezi Expedition in our hearts.
