Nesta divertida excursão de 1 dia, você vai desfrutar do novo património religioso de Sapporo, juntamente com vistas deslumbrantes do centro da cidade e do grande parque central, com degustação de sake para cima no final do dia! Visitando o gigantesco Buda dormindo dourado no Templo Butsuganji, bem como a Colina do Buda, uma fusão de arte moderna e religião antiga, você verá como as pessoas de Sapporo expressam sua espiritualidade e criatividade juntos. Depois do almoço, uma visita ao centro de Sapporo, um passeio até sua icônica Torre de TV, e degustação de Sake em um pequeno bar local irá apresentá-lo ao lado secular desta cidade do norte do Japão.

Na chegada ao Butsugan-ji (Buda Dormente/Dormente), você será visualmente impressionado pela estátua de 45 metros de comprimento de Buda Nirvana descansando/deitado horizontalmente em paz, no teto do Grande Nirvana Temple Hall. Este lugar incrível é agora considerado um dos pontos de força espiritualmente mais fortes em todo o Japão. Muitos visitantes se reúnem aqui de todo o Japão e de todo o mundo. Além do Buda, os visitantes podem ver o belo Jodo Pure Land Garden com um design japonês muito autêntico. Nas proximidades, há um lago e uma cachoeira com água pura e limpa. Há antigas rochas puramente limpas do jardim espalhadas pelo jardim. As pessoas vêm a este templo não só por seu belo ambiente, mas também por sua poderosa área espiritual.
Esta estátua de pedra esculpida de Buda é cercada por uma rotunda situada em uma colina artificial suavemente inclinada dentro da terra pertencente a um cemitério. Ele tem 13,5 metros de altura e pesa 1500 toneladas. Ao aproximar-se dele de longe, a cabeça solitária do Buda que olha do interior da rotunda transmite uma impressão solene e serena do Buda. A entrada do Buda tem um jardim de água que os visitantes normalmente caminham. Depois disso, você caminha através de um túnel de concreto arqueado, no final do qual fica a estátua de Buda, no centro de uma rotunda aberta que permite que a luz do sol entre. A abertura circular da rotunda com luz fluindo quase dá uma sensação de "halo" para a estátua de Buda. Definitivamente um lugar magnífico para ver! Um “dever visitar” a qualquer momento do ano.
Em seguida, voltaremos ao centro de Sapporo e visitaremos a Sapporo T.V. Torre. Construído em 1957, ele tem 147,2 metros de altura. Esta torre foi projetada e construída por Tachu Naito, um arquiteto japonês que também é famoso por planejar a Torre de Tóquio. Iremos até a plataforma de observação superior, onde você vai desfrutar de vistas espectaculares de 360 graus durante o dia de toda a cidade de Sapporo. Talk to your guide..! Japan is more then sightseeing and food .. it’s the people that will make your visit wonderful
Scott was awesome and was very knowledgeable about the area. If you ask, he will make the Itinerary extra fun too! Easily got to and from the Statue and into Sapporo proper!
If you are visiting Sapporo for a few days, I highly recommend this day trip. I met Scott at the determined meeting spot and he was there waiting when I arrived on time. It turns out I was the only traveler who had booked the tour that day, so we left immediately and took public transportation. It was super easy and we were able to chat on a personal level which made it feel like traveling with a new friend. Hill of the Buddha was the obvious highlight and he was super insightful and gave me pointers on the best photo angles. Having a tour guide there made for a more meaningful experience. From there we headed back to Sapporo and proceeded to do a walking tour of the city. I’m not sure how a regular tour would have been with a full group , but it showed me he was willing to cater the trip to circumstances and my desires and interests. Top notch!
Although I was the only person on this tour, my guide Scott worked just as hard at making sure I had a fabulous time. In addition to the original itinerary that he crafted, which was fabulous (Buddha statue, sake tasting, et cetera), Scott further escalated my experience that day by leveling it up with various destinations including the Nakajima Park, the Odori Park, Shiryokan, and JR Tower Observatory. He also helped me shop for omiyage and truly went over and beyond..
Scott was such a great tour guide. He was fun and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Navigating to all of our stops was a breeze, and not only did Scott provide great insight into the Hill of the Buddha, but to life in Sapporo and Japan in general. Scott also doubled as a personal photographer, he even knew all the best angles to get photos and certainly didnt mind stopping every 10 feet so I could take a picture. The sake at the end of the tour was just the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!
We had a truly great day with Scott E. In our two-week trip to Japan this time, Scott is the only American born tour guide that we had, thus he was the easiest to understand. Besides Scott’s thorough knowledge of the sites we visited, we were able to share many laughs with him while reminiscing about the “good old days” in America. We were already a fan of the work of architect Tadao Ando, so seeing the Hill of the Buddha with Scott was a real treat. We would highly recommend Scott’s service to any visitors to Sapporo.
