A terceira maior sinagoga do mundo (a segunda maior da Europa), o Museu Judaico e os Arquivos com uma rica coleção e as mais importantes instituições religiosas e culturais judaicas estão localizadas aqui. A primeira parada de nossa excursão pela Herança Judaica é a segunda maior sinagoga do mundo, conhecida como Sinagoga da Rua Dohány. Exposições, memoriais e muito mais estão esperando por nós para explorar, como o Memorial do Holocausto, o Cemitério dos Heróis, a Árvore da Vida com o Parque Memorial Wallenberg.
Visitamos o Museu Judaico, que contém uma coleção única de artefatos judaicos (por exemplo, o florão da Torá mais antigo do mundo) com uma história incrível.
História fascinante com arte local; famosos bares em ruínas; boutiques ecléticas; galerias de vanguarda e ótimos lugares para comer - O bairro judeu (Patrimônio da Humanidade) tornou-se um dos lugares mais emocionantes e populares de Budapeste. We had a wonderful tour with George. He was informative and fun to be with. Highly recommend Geroge and this tour.
Our tour guide, György was fabulous. He met us at the lobby of our hotel and provided us with an informative walking tour of the surrounding area on the way to the Jewish quarter of Budapest. He was incredibly knowledgeable of Budapest and the Jewish history. We thoroughly appreciated all he had to offer in seeing the important sites in the area, including but not limited to the synagogues, museum, memorials and current cultural flair of the local area. In addition to the walking, he took us on the Metro to the river bank to see the Parliament building and the important, solemn Shoes on the Danube memorial. He provided us with so much important information of this part of Budapest’s history, and was polite and professional too. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Budapest.

George was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide. Everything was perfect from meeting me at the hotel to drop off. Very emotional day but light moments with chimney cake and small talk. As I was solo, George did the usual tour but offered options and insights throughout the day to be sure I saw everything I should or wanted to. This tour is a must for anyone who wants a history of the Jewish story in Budapest

<p>Rashad is one of the most knowledgeable historians on Jewish events I have ever heard. He gave us an overview of world history as it related to Jewish people as well as in depth descriptions of the ghettos where thousands died from exposure, starvation, and Nazi bullets. The most striking portion of the tour was the depiction of the men,women and children who were shot and thrown into the Danube illustrated by empty shoes at the river side. The tour was well worth more than its cost.</p>
