We were not informed properly about this tour. We were led to believe we would be in the palace 2 hours and we spent most of the time outside listening to the tour guide’s unimpressive representation of the royals. It was a terrible experience!
This was the first tour of our London trip and it was great. Katerina was our guide and she was wonderful. She had a great sense of humor and was a wealth of knowledge when it comes to history. We enjoyed our tour very much. The changing of the horse guard was a beautiful experience as was touring the state rooms in the palace. I would recommend this tour .
Brilliant day! Very well organised, no big crowds well priced
The tour guide, Lisa, was exceptional. She provided a lot of interesting historical information about the Royal family, London, and the horse guards. Her presentation was clear, easy to understand, with some humorous stories in addition. The walk from the meeting point to the horse guards and then to Buckingham Palace was quite long and it was the hottest day of the summer! The group was always trying to find a shady area. Because of the heat, the changing of the horse guards was scaled down and a kind of disappointing. Our guide explained that the horses could not tolerate the excessive heat. The tour of Buckingham palace was very interesting and the rooms were lavishly appointed and decorated. I did enjoy it, but, with no air conditioning, it was hot and uncomfortable. There was no a/c in the cafe, restrooms or store, so, it was hard to relax, have lunch and browse the gift shop. Needless to say, I didn’t stay long in either the cafe or store.
The guide was fantastic, funny and knowledgable. The tour was not rushed and we had plenty of time in the palace.
Natalie was amazing, she made sure we had front row seats for the start of the changing of the guard procession, entering the palace and then being dismissed before. Her stories were highly entertaining. The inside of the Palace is simply breathtaking, a must see and a highlight of the trip. Thank you Natalie from Liverpool 🤣😂🤣😂💂♂️

So much information and guide (Caterina) absolutely first class. We managed to miss most of the crowds until the Palace, but gardens amazing.
Viewing point of new guard going on too far away, disappointing,
I did not have a good experience and I do not recommend this tour. The tour misleads you into believing you will see the Changing of the Guard in front of the palace gates. I did my research and I know that the ceremony takes place in front of the palace gates on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays at 10am. So the reason that I was given regarding the processional route is not accurate. It was an awful tour and I could had better viewing for free of charge. As a gesture of “goodwill” I was offered a 10% refund of an over 300 USD dollar fee. This is not a gesture of good will. I do a lot of traveling and I would be extremely cautious about using this company for any tours in the future. This was supposed to be a highlight of my trip and the experience was completely ruined by misleading information. When we were told that the headset did not work we were expected to grin and bear it. This undermined the experience and and is not good customer service. The tour guide should have made certain those devices worked before starting the tour. The responsive to my complaint was completely dismissive and inadequate and I plan on escalating my complaint further.

Because it is a free, public event, crowds gather very early, and it is not always possible or guaranteed to secure a viewing spot directly in front of the Buckingham Palace gates. As noted in our tour details, access and viewing locations depend heavily on crowd sizes, which are entirely outside of our control. We also apologize for the issue with the headset during your tour. We expect our equipment to be fully functional before departure, and we regret the frustration this caused when it failed.
