The tour started on time and went the full three hours. There is a $10 parking fee that you can pay in cash and you should park next to their boat dock. Our lead guide, Will, was terrific, he provided us with a description of the tour, a safety briefing, made sure we were all squared away with our life vest and he did assess our kayaking experience. Saw dolphins and a manatee!
I really enjoyed this excursion. Probably one of the best kayak tours I’ve done. We were out probably 2 1/2 hours, definitely got our moneys worth. Our guide Chris was fantastic in spotting birds. We even saw a critically endangered egret. I would definitely do this again.
We love hearing this kind of kayak adventure story! 🛶✨ Exploring the mangrove waterways of Southwest Florida and Fort Myers really does have a way of turning a few hours on the water into a full-on experience. Sounds like Chris was on fire spotting wildlife 🐦—that critically endangered egret is such a rare treat! Moments like that are exactly what our guided tours (and even our kayak rentals for the self-explorers out there) are all about: slowing down, tuning in, and letting nature do the show-off routine 🌿. And yes… out there you just never know when dolphins might pop up to say hello 🐬 or a manatee might cruise by like it owns the place 🐋. We’re so glad you felt it was time well spent and packed with value. That’s the kind of Adventure experience we aim for every time. Hope to see you back out on the water for round two soon! 🌊🚣♂️ - Stefan
We had a great time kayaking with guide Ty! He showed us lots of cool birds, took us through the beautiful mangrove tunnels, and we even saw a manatee up close! Highly recommend! Kayaking was easy and relaxing 😊
Thank you Karen! We're glad to hear that Ty made your experience easy, relaxing, and unforgettable. We hope you'll come paddle with us again soon! -Stefan
Quiet paddle tour in pure nature. If you're lucky, you can see manatees and dolphins. Don't forget sun protection!
-Stefan
We had a great time and saw a lot of sea life! We saw birds, conch, starfish and manatee. My teen girls enjoyed it.Would do it again.
Wow, it sounds like your adventure was packed with wildlife wonders! 🐬 From manatees to starfish, and birds to conch, you hit the jackpot. So glad your teen girls had a blast too! We’d love to have you back for another splash of sea-life fun anytime! -Stefan
This is a great and affordable way to experience some of the costal flora and fauna in Pelican Bay. Our guide, Jay, was friendly, helpful, and had insights into the ecosystem through which we paddled. We saw several birds including pelicans and the white cattle egret. There were mangrove mangals that we paddled around in search of manatee. Though we didn't see any, other groups were lucky and spotted some, so they were in the area. We highly recommend this tour as it is accessible, affordable, and entertaining.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We love hearing that Jay made your tour both informative and enjoyable. Pelican Bay is full of surprises—birds, mangroves, and sometimes the elusive manatees—so it’s great to know you got a front-row seat to the ecosystem. We can’t wait to welcome you back for another adventure—you never know who might pop up next! -Stefan

Great trip. Saw many different birds and dolphins. Guide Ty was very knowledgeable. Would definitely do this again or rent a paddle boat.
Thank you so much for your great review Robert! We'll be sure to pass your compliments on to Ty and are glad you enjoyed your paddle with him. Come see us again soon! -Stefan
We had an excellent time on our excursion with Ty. Though we didn’t see any dolphins, we saw the giant iguana and many types of birds. Ty gave us lots of information about the wildlife, plants, the hurricane recovery and area history. We have kayaked previously, but enjoyed going with a guide who knows the “trails” through the waterways and who could tell us about what we were seeing. We would definitely book a trip again with Kayak Excursions!
Thank you so much for your great review Joyce! We're glad you had a great time exploring the trails with Ty and look forward to seeing you again soon! -Stefan
