Excursão Chichén Itzá

Euri our tour guide was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! 15 years of tourism experience that absolutely made our trip come to life. Getting to see one of the 7 wonders of the world, coupled with her deep knowledge and passion, was such a gift. I’ll never forget the history she shared. From the royals to the Mayan sacrifices, it was fascinating to learn about the Mayan culture and spend the day with her. Thank you, Euri!

Riaz was a perfect guide for our Chichen Itza tour. He was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. We learned and saw so much. We were allowed to enjoy everything at our pace and truly felt that the tour was personalized to our interests. The Chichen Itza was such an architectural wonder and full of history. The cenote was breathtakingly beautiful and such fun. The town of Valladolid was quaint and peaceful. Lunch was at this beautiful hotel with an open courtyard. The food was absolutely delicious. We felt extremely well taken care of by both Riaz and our driver. We want to thank them both for an amazing time.

Riaz was excellent. Super friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we were comfortable and had the best experience possible. Angel was a fantastic driver.

This trip exceeded our expectations in every way. Santiago was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. He is a wealth of information about not only Chichen Itza but other Mayan sites in the region - with a clear passion for the subject. He added personal touches like brining cacao beans for us to try, orienting us to local artisan vendors, and playing traditional guitar during portions of the drive. Angle was a charming, excellent driver and anticipated our needs with snacks and a cool vehicle waiting each time we returned. The cenote was a highlight - refreshing and we were the only family there. The lunch with handmade tortillas and fresh salsa was a welcome change from the generic food at our all-inclusive resort. I can't recommend this enough, well worth the price.

We had a wonderful time with a wonderful guide and safe driver. During the excursion my 81 year old mother felt ill from something she had eaten the night before. Our guide was so helpful and understanding for our entire group and he helped us to have a memorable experience. This is the flexibility we could not have had on one of the large bus groups. We are thankful for choosing this private tour!

We had the most amazing day with Marcela and Alex! Chichen Itza and a cenote with many laughs, good food, and amazing pictures from start to finish. Highly recommend!!!

For our first time in the Yucatan peninsula, we couldn't have chosen a better tour than EcoColors. Thanks to our wonderful guide Tita and driver Noé, we spent an unforgettable day in Chichen Itza, Valladolid and cenote Pueblo Fantasma. I especially appreciated Tita's knowledge of Mayan culture and language. We were lucky enough to be able to swim alone in a beautiful cenote, which was by far the most magical experience of our stay.

Marcela was fantastic. She took us to places only a local would know and away from all the more touristy areas. She was amazing with our children as well. 10 stars.

A great day out! We booked this tour as last minute as we wanted to do one more excursion before leaving Mexico. The only thing that we were unsure about was the price however, it was totally worth paying extra for. Our guide Angela was brilliant. She taught us so much about Chichen Itza and the Mayans in general. As it was a private tour we could ask as many questions as we liked and Angela answered them all! She also knew where the best photo spots were so we got some fab photos! Our driver Andres was great as well! He had a cooler in the back and we had water and Cokes whenever we wanted and he went out and bought some snacks for us after walking round Chichen! Overall worth paying the extra money to do the tour and would deffo recommend doing so!

Marcela was absolutely fantastic and enthusiastic telling us the history of the Mayan culture with a stunning depth of unparalleled knowledge that really expands one’s curiosity to learn even more in the future plus patiently answering every question no matter how big or obscure it seemed to be. Andrés our driver was awesome, he drove us with great care and safety, stopping at great service facilities any time we needed. I highly recommend this team and I/ we will be requesting them on future visits. So much more to learn. Another thing, the Mayan family restaurant/ village we visited was spectacular with hands down the best food of our entire vacation in Cancun area plus amazing how they farm the bees/ honey. Wonderful tour, guide, driver, true Mayan family, huge thank you from the Gore family!
