A vila de Materuni está localizada na parte norte da cidade de Moshi. É a última vila antes do parque nacional Kilimanjaro e fica a apenas 15 km da cidade de Moshi. Você viaja tanto em asfalto quanto em estradas irregulares. Uma caminhada moderada de aproximadamente 40 minutos até a bela cachoeira Materuni com um guia que fala inglês. Ao longo do caminho, aprenda sobre o estilo de vida da vila local e aprecie as belezas da natureza. Aprenda diferentes tipos de flora e fauna. Você terá a chance de testar a cerveja de banana local Chagga no bar local. O que levar em Materuni Village Tours: - -Fato de banho (se você estiver interessado em nadar nas cachoeiras) Bons sapatos para caminhada (você estará caminhando) Roupas confortáveis para a caminhada (considere as camadas, pois o clima pode mudar de frio para quente) -Câmera -Jaquetas / lã para as noites, -Protetor solar e repelente de insetos. It was an amazing experience 😍 Professional team and great company. The hiking tour is approximately 2*2.5km, but it is worth it at the end. I recommend it.

It was a very well organised trip. Everything went well. We had a good time. The schedule was nice and foods also.
Great experience with Moana ! We did 2 days with them, visited Materuni waterfall with coffee tour on the first day and Chemka hot springs the following day. Everything ran smoothly, our guides were punctual, very nice and prepared. The food was great and for both experiences, we arrived earlier than the general crowd, this was a great plus! I highly recommend these guys, part of their income is used to run their NGO to give back to the community. You will be in great hands !
It was very fun! So funny and open people over there! Our guide Gea is a really nice guy! Friendly funny understandable always makes lot effort to you feel comfortable! He also was able to keep up with us late in the club ;)

The day was more interesting than I expected. Scenic very beautiful and thanks to the great organization of Moana we could get a good impression of how the local people live.
Great tour with a great group. The guides of Moana know everyone in the area and were able to offer us a real "local experience". The waterfall is hard to reach and hard to find if you don't know your way around, so you need an organization. I can recommend Moana to anyone. Very fair and competent and at the same time always friendly.

Amazing, I arrived at around 8 at an amazing 'hostel' (you share the room with max 1 other person). The trip organizer, Gea is a really nice guy and accompanied me to an amazing club and made sure I had a good time. The tour and waterfall was amazing, though don't make the same mistakes as I made and bring your swimming clothes. He also took care of transport and made sure I had arrived at my destination safely. I would highly recommend going on this trip as it was amazing. Unfortunately I had to go back to work on Monday, otherwise I would diffenetly stayed longer.
