The tour was incredible from start to finish, cannot thank Delton (Dr Fun) enough for providing such a great experience. His knowledge of Jamaica is brilliant, we learnt so much along the way. The views are spectacular and it was an honour to meet a Blue Mountain coffee farmer, and for him to show us how he processes and roasts the coffee using traditional methods (no machinery). The coffee tasted delicious (coming from someone who doesn’t drink coffee!) and was glad to be able to buy some to take home as a gift. This coffee is not what you’ll buy from Jamaican supermarkets or gift stores, that is mass produced and mechanically processed. Delicious complementary lunch too. We’ve been to Jamaica many times and were yet to visit the blue mountains, we certainly weren’t disappointed on this trip. Everyone visiting Jamaica should do this trip!

Another great year with Dr fun! He is professional,knowledgeable, reliable, punctual, trustworthy, accommodating, and an all around good person. The Blue mountains tour helped us to appreciate and learn about nature, see beautiful sights, and enjoy freshly ground coffee with the folks at the James Dennis coffee shop. We will continue to book with Dr. Fun for tours,excursions and airport transfers.

My wife and I were staying in Sandals Ochi but we wanted to get a taste of the real Jamaica outside of the Sandals bubble. We both love coffee so we decided to go learn a bit more about the world famous Blue Mountain Coffee. Island Tours (from the lobby) had stopped running this tour so we turned to Trip Advisor. Dr Fun Tours came highly rated and rightly so. I e-mailed Dr Fun (aka Delton) and quickly arranged a trip for the next day. $300 took us on a full day’s excursion. We were picked up from the lobby in a comfortable MPV/Van and brought on a 3 hr drive to the blue mountains. Delton is a gentleman and very knowledgeable. He kept us engaged with many interesting facts on island life, history, flora and fauna, stopping for photos along the way. The road up into the mountains was long and winding and a tad precarious at points but we were reassured by Delton’s competent driving. At the top we visited Dennis’s farm and coffee shop where we say coffee being processed and roasted the traditional way. Absolutely fascinating! We bought some coffee direct from a farmer. The farmers only get a pittance compared to the pricetag the consumer pays. Disgusting exploitation by the government and large companies in my view - but I digress! We paid a very fair price for three big bags of world class coffee. Fully caffeinated we embarked on the long road back to bubbleland stopping for some Juici Pattis along the way. The beef was delish! Thank you for a great experience Delton - you’re a gent! Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Dr. Fun's Tours! This was the first of many more Blue Mountain experiences. Delton, aka Dr. Fun, was professional, fun, knowledgeable, and engaging. He gave us much insight into the area, and I even learned a few songs and riddles along the way. It was a breathtaking ride up the Blue Mountain, with beautiful vegetation, lush greenery, and flowing rivers. At the top of the mountain was a coffee farm, where we enjoyed the best cup of coffee, frontier-style, brewed over an open wooden fire. It was a beautiful experience; I felt like I had traveled back in time. We even got to buy some coffee directly from the farmer. Our coffee was ground right before us and packaged on the spot. We also enjoyed some local fruits. It was a great, memorable, rich experience, and we will definitely book again with DR.Fun and experience some more of Jamaica.

This was our third trip up into the mountains with Dr Fun! That should speak volumes! The amount of information we have received about Jamaican history is second to none! The trip is more than a car ride, it’s like going through the lives of the people! The ride up the mountain might have some of the most spectacular views in the world!!! Once you reach the top where Opie the coffee farmer resides, it’s like going back in time! The hot coffee that they serve you is by far the best cup o Joe in the world!!!!!! No close second! We had a wonderful Jamaican lunch, enjoyed the company of our host and his family. We were then able to buy the coffee straight from the farmer lThis is the best excursion in Jamaica. This is our 20th trip to the island, we have done all of the excursions, and Dr fun can arrange any variety of activities. Thank you Delton!

If you want a great guide, take Doctor Fun. Finally, after a bad experience with another organism, we got acquainted with Doctor Fun for an excursion to blue mountain. Trust him, he will take you off the beaten track, and tell you all about Jamaica. Finally we called on him throughout the stay. An excellent guide!! Thank you.

We had the best time on this tour with Delton and it was by far the best tour we did in our two-week trip to Jamaica. If you're looking for a tour off the beaten track that will give you unique insights into Jamaica and leave you feeling super relaxed - then this is it! I will say, the journey up into the Blue Mountains isn't for the faint-hearted and if you're afraid of heights, this might not be for you, but you will be in great hands because Delton is fantastic. We felt completely safe during the journey and also when we were out exploring the coffee farms. Delton is a great tour guide and is super knowledgeable on all things Jamaica and the Blue Mountains. If you're considering doing this tour, I recommend you cover up as the temperature in the mountains is a lot cooler and you wear comfortable covered shoes. You may be walking through trees and grass so covering up will protect you. We're so grateful to Delton for this tour and I would 1000% do it again. It's a shame we didn't have longer in Jamaica otherwise we would have booked more tours with him!

Super great tour and experience. Got to see how they hand roast coffee on the Blue Mountain and tour the farm as well. We got to take home lots of freshly picked fruit as well. Our tour guide, Tevary, was very nice and fun.

We had a very good time today! Tevary went out of the way to make sure my friend and I not only have lots of fun, but also learn about Jamaica’s history/culture, as well as local fruits. We highly recommend Dr Fun tour with Tevary. This is truly a local-style trip.

Delton is amazing tour guide and excellant driver! We learn so much about Jamaica from him. The coffee tour was perfect - local roastery and farm with freshly brewed coffee with local people was absolutly amazing. We have so much fun on this tour :) I highly recommand to spend a day or two with Delton.
