Excursão Bacalar Lagoon 7 Colors a partir do porto de cruzeiro Costa Maya

The directions for where to go when you get off the ship are abysmal. We were so stressed trying to find where to go, we were lucky that we found someone who told us where we had to go. Its not how you want to start your day. The bus ride is long and the area is blighted. The lagoon was beautiful, great water. After we went to eat and it was ok. There was no Tequila tasting either. I wouldn't use Viator in Central America again.

I chose this specific excursion because I did not want to stop at different areas that did not interest me. This went to the lagoon and only the lagoon. Our driver was Aquino and the person doing the explaining was J (I do not remember her name). J was amazing. Aquino got us back to the port with a few minutes to spare. The lagoon was beautiful and we enjoyed having time to swim. I have been on other excursions in which swimming was only 10 minutes. When you get to the port do not wait in line with the hundreds of people. Keep walking. The bus is at the very end of the lines of bus and taxis.

Very cool! Fresh pineapple is amazing. The lagoon is amazing itself especially being fresh water! The authentic tacos is an amazing experience as well!

My family had a great time on this trip! We were coming off a cruise ship and it was very easy to find them! They were waiting with waters to get our party started. We did drive an hour to the lagoon which was 2 hours and 20 minutes of the 5 hour trip. It was very cool to be so immersed in the actual culture. The lunch is in a restaurant in the middle of a community. It was so cool!! My kids are 18 and 16 and they both loved it too! Our guide Jocelyn was very outgoing and welcoming! She was taking pictures using our phones and making it the best day. The pineapple is AMAZING! You’ll be so happy! We got dropped off at 6:25 and had to RUN through the port to make our all aboard time at 6:30 so that was stressful. Maybe encourage them to get you back a little earlier if you’re not in for sprints. Overall it was one of the best excursions our family has done. Highly recommend!

Jocelyn (tour guide) and Aquino (driver) were a great pair. They kept us on time to everything and we were back at our ship with time to spare. The cenotes were beautiful. The tacos were delicious. I would definitely recommend booking.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an amazing excursion! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organized. The meeting point is outside the cruise port, so be prepared for about a 20-minute walk from the ship. However, they provide very clear instructions, making it easy to find them, and it is absolutely worth the walk. A huge thank you to our guide, Joselyn, and our driver, Aquino. They were fantastic! Joselyn is bubbly, fun, energetic, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made the entire experience enjoyable, and we absolutely loved her. The lagoon was one of the most beautiful places we’ve visited on our cruise. It was breathtaking! The excursion also included drinks (local beer, tequila, Coke, and water), which was a great bonus. Lunch was delicious, and the tacos were to die for! Everything ran on schedule, and we made it back to the port with plenty of time to do a little shopping before boarding the ship. I would recommend this excursion 100% and would absolutely do it again!

My family and I enjoyed it to the fullest. The guide informed us down to the smallest detail and gave us enough time at each stop to enjoy the place. The place is charming and crystal clear waters…

The whole experience was amazing! Our tour guide Siomara was amazing and so informative with each place we went and the questions we asked at each location! The logistics, i.e. making sure we got back to port on time, informing us of what we'll be doing next, keeping time checks etc was amazing for peace of mind. Everything was well organized and planned, and a great bang for your buck. we highly recommend for those who are looking to book something outside of the excursions given from the cruise! They are 10000% trustworthy and would book again!!

We really enjoyed this experience to the Bacalar lagoon and cenotes. Our driver, and our guide, Jocelyn, and our pontoon captain were all wonderful. Jocelyn was obviously very knowledgeable about the area, current information as well as history. She was a wonderful guide and storyteller. She had a bubbly personality and was fun to be around. We stopped on the way to the pontoon boat and bought a pineapple that the boat captain sliced and seasoned, this was served to us as we enjoyed the beautiful lagoon waters. The only thing I wish was that the day was longer so we could enjoy more time. They were great about making sure we got back to the port in enough time that we weren’t nervous about being late. The lunch of tacos was delicious. I would recommend this excursion to anyone.

We visited the Lagoon of Seven Colors in Bacalar, a unique and very beautiful place. Additionally, we enjoyed a delicious Mexican lunch, fruits, and snacks. We received spectacular treatment from Jocelyn and Aquino.
