Ilha Lokrum, visitaremos a maior das cavernas de Dubrovnik, chamada caverna de Pidgeon. Isolada, no lado exterior da ilha, a sua entrada é rodeada por rochas íngremes e vegetação mediterrânica que se projeta das rochas. Você pode imaginar sua gênese, como as enormes e fortes ondas que atingiram as rochas durante milhares de anos moldaram esta maravilha natural.
Fort Lovrjenac, muitas vezes chamado de "Gibraltar de Dubrovnik", é uma fortaleza e teatro fora da muralha ocidental da cidade de Dubrovnik, na Croácia, 37 metros (121 pés) acima do nível do mar. Famosa pelas suas peças teatrais e pela importância na resistência ao domínio veneziano, ofusca as duas entradas da cidade, por mar e por terra. No início do século 11, os venezianos tentaram construir um forte no mesmo local onde atualmente fica o Forte Lovrijenac. Se tivessem conseguido, teriam mantido Dubrovnik sob seu poder, mas o povo da cidade foi mais rápido. As “Crônicas de Ragusa” revelam como o forte foi construído em apenas três meses e desde então constantemente reconstruído. Quando chegaram os navios venezianos, cheios de materiais para a construção do forte, foram orientados a regressar a Veneza.
As Muralhas de Dubrovnik são uma série de muralhas defensivas de pedra que cercam a cidade de Dubrovnik. As muralhas foram construídas nas áreas periféricas da cidade, incluindo as encostas das montanhas, como parte de um conjunto de estátuas de 1272. As muralhas existentes da cidade foram construídas principalmente durante os séculos XIII-XVII. As muralhas percorrem um percurso ininterrupto de aproximadamente 1.940 metros (6.360 pés) de comprimento, circundando a maior parte da cidade velha, e atingem uma altura máxima de cerca de 25 metros (82 pés).
A Villa Sheherezade está situada numa localização exclusiva no coração de Dubrovnik. Originalmente construída em 1929 pelo rico judeu russo, Vilim Zimdin, em homenagem à sua misteriosa amante chamada Sheherezade, que dá nome à villa.
Já no século XIV, após o aumento das epidemias de doenças contagiosas, o governo de Dubrovnik decidiu construir as primeiras quarentenas para isolar os viajantes e examinar os bens destinados à distribuição e, em 1590, a construção de Lazareti em Ploče começou e durou até 1642.

Beautiful views of the wall and island. Boat is well maintained and the young Captain was wonderful and very informative. If you are prone to sea sickness this adventure is not for you, the seas are choppy. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time on this sunset boat trip with Jakov/Jacob. It was such a lovely chilled experience with a friendly skipper who was very knowledgeable and took great care when the sea was choppy. We particularly enjoyed the music and the drinks were good too. All in all a fantastic experience and a great way to see this beautiful city/old town :)

Our skipper Mario was lovely. Prompt and professional. Hubby and I had the pleasure of a private sunset experience. Drinks were offered and we connected to the Bluetooth speaker and played some time tracks for 1.5hrs. Mari warned me that the waters were abit choppy due to the windy. I got sea sick towards the end of the cruise. The waters were wilder than I expected but a great experience none the less.
