The trip was truly perfect in every way: the hotels were comfortable and especially ideally located near the monuments, the French-speaking guides were knowledgeable and interesting, the drivers were always on time for appointments, and the program was well adapted with a mix of guided tours and free time. Furthermore, the timing was ideal as there were not too many tourists, even though it was a bit hot at times.

We booked a 13 day tour of Uzbekistan with Anur Tour, and let me say that they were outstanding in all phases. From the pretrip planning through the execution of the tour itself, communication was excellent and our tours, transportation and hotels were all wonderful! The flexibility of doing a private tour with Anur was that we could go at our own pace, and once or twice when I mentioned places we might want to see, our guide immediately arranged it for us. Finally, using a local operator and booking directly saved a considerable amount of money with no compromise whatsoever on the quality of services we received. This iis the company you should use for a tour of this wonderful country!

After reading all the positive reviews on various sites, I selected Anur Tours to help us put together a 10 day, bespoke trip to Uzbekistan. I am so glad that I chose them because the trip was purrrrr..fect in every sense. Their planning, their tireless communications, flexibility in designing the itinerary, the daily schedule, airport, train, hotel pickup/drop offs, assignment of guides & drivers... was flawless. Everything worked with clockwork precision. A HUGE amount of credit goes to Elina the nonpareil. She was fantastically responsive (via Whatapp, emails and phone calls) with clear communication, showed great deal of flexibility in working out an itinerary that fitted our needs; recommended hotels (since we wanted to make our own hotel reservations), made restaurant suggestions that were spot on and also made the reservations. Her itineraries were crystal clear... I can go on and on. There are no words left to describe the role she played in my family and I having such a memorable, spell binding visit to Uzbekistan. The guides (Nurhon, Gulmira, Shahnoza and Hilola) that Elina selected for us were also wonderful people. All four ladies were not only very knowledgeable about the places we visited but also, about the country's history, economy, exports, role of women in their society.... . We loved our interactions with them and at the end of the tour, I felt like I knew each of them personally. The drivers too were just such wonderful people; though they could not speak much english, they were super punctual, very flexible and took the trouble to point out places of interest on long drives and made multiple stops to accommodate our picture taking! If I could give Anur Tours a rating of 10 out of 5, I would. They were that good. I highly highly recommend them. We loved that vacation. This country is beautiful, clean, safe. People are charming and super good at foreign languages. Everything is extremely well organized for tourism. It's varied, it's beautiful, the weather is nice, the food is delicious, the program with the agency was great, the guides great... We wholeheartedly recommend this country and this agency.

My 21-year-old daughter and I relied on Anur Tour for our first trip to Central Asia. Perfect organization with the agency since the preparation of our individual itinerary to discover the cities of the Silk Road and the myth of Samarkand, with a focus on history, culture and religion, already months before departure. Marjona has always followed our journey, always ready to intervene in case of small problems: she made us feel always safe and pampered. All the guides, who spoke in perfect Italian or English, were well prepared from a historical, religious and cultural point of view as requested by us. Thanks to their kindness and helpfulness and the relationship that was created, sharing many experiences together, even unscheduled, we could ask, discuss and understand the Uzbek culture, religion and people. Last but not least, we were accompanied to discover Uzbek cuisine with useful tips and shared meals and snacks. A special charm and of great significance for us the many meetings with craftsmen and masterclasses. We are very grateful for our time spent in Uzbek land, the wonders seen, the experiences made, all the people met and the generosity and hospitality received. We recommend taking the time to fully experience Uzbekistan in all its many facets, traveling slowly thanks to the railway lines and include in the itinerary a couple of.days in Tashkent because it has so much to offer, to go as far as Khiva because it impresses with its conservation and in the Fergana Valley because it has so much to offer the curious visitor.
