Chinatown is such a large and varied neighbourhood that it’s impossible to cover it all in one tour, but I’m really glad you and Gary enjoyed our attempt to bring out as many aspects of day-to-day Singaporean life as possible. Thanks for being game to see more, eat more and walk more, including going along with me to check out the almost fully air-conditioned/sheltered “secret” route from Telok Ayer back to Furama City Centre after our tour!

Thanks so much for your very kind words, Domen! You and your family were so warm and friendly right from the start, it made our 7-hour private tour fly by. It was a pleasure being able to show you around our major downtown areas — Marina Bay and our Civic District, Chinatown, Kampong Glam and Little India — but also go just a bit further eastwards to explore the charming Katong/Joo Chiat neighbourhood where my mum grew up. All of you were so game to walk more (even your brother while on crutches?!), experience our public transport system, try foods different from what you’re used to, discover local temples, and indulge my suggestions for silly photos! It was really a fun day out for me and I’m truly glad you enjoyed it too.
