Went by bus from Fuengirola to this white picturesque and lively mountain village (price bus ride €1.60 per person one way). Around the corner from the bus stop is the large village square with nice shops and restaurants. To the left of the square is a glass elevator that takes you to the street above. By the way, you can also go up the stairs on the right where there are more nice shops. Feel free to stroll through.
Thomas is WONDERFUL! I took a private trip with him to Mijas. He went above and beyond in explaining the region, walking with me to the view points, pointing out interesting things in the area. Highly recommend.

The village of Mijas is such a special place! It is beautiful, charming, and oh so clean! We really enjoyed our tour with Peter. It was relaxing and laid back and we learned a lot about the history of the area. There are many good restaurants there and we enjoyed a delightful tapas lunch. We would definitely love to come back and spend more time!

Built on the side of the mountain. Very beautiful and interesting views. A lot to see and not very touristy. A very enjoyable tour. The tour guide and driver was vry informative.

Our tour to Mijas was excellent! We loved the beautiful buildings and the friendly, welcoming people there. Our guide, Peter, was fantastic! He shared his knowledge of the area that you just can't get on your own. It didn't hurt that we had perfect weather; got to sit outside and enjoy a beer with Peter, then after he hooked us up with a fantastic restaurant with local food. We also discovered an amazing pottery co-op and of course had to buy several things. It was a great day!

This would have to be one of the best tours we have done. Miryam our driver and guide was punctual, with a lovely air conditioned car and was so lovely and friendly. Our tour was very laid back but she gave us all the information we needed and also free time. I cannot recommend this tour enough. It will certainly rate as one of our best days. Mijas is absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit.

Really highly recommended a visit to this completely white village with celestial vases on the walls of the houses. Flowers everywhere and donkeys acting as taxis. Stunning view.

This was such a fun place to visit. People were friendly and kept their village very clean. This was the best shopping place for souvenirs.
The place is beautiful, and had nice views of the sea from the top. The guide was friendly and gave us lots of interesting information. Loved Mijas.
