Nossa turnê de jazz é guiada por músicos, coreógrafos, produtores e diretores locais que fazem parte da comunidade artística de Nova Orleans. Eles também são nativos, historiadores orais, embaixadores culturais e preservacionistas. Junte-se a nós e explore a evolução da música na cidade conhecida como “o berço do Jazz”. Lar de Louis Armstrong, Buddy Bolden, Sidney Bechet, Louis Prima e Sharkey Bonano, só para citar alguns. . .Você será guiado pelos últimos locais restantes onde o jazz, o champanhe e o romance reinaram supremos. Itinerário
O passeio começará no Louis Armstrong Park. Os viajantes visitarão os primeiros monumentos pioneiros do Jazz e os primeiros salões de dança onde o Jazz reina supremo. Eles ouvirão histórias de pioneiros do Jazz como; Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Charles "Buddy" Bolden e outros ícones do jazz.
As viagens visitarão o New Orleans Jazz Museum ou o primeiro museu de jazz no St. Pierre Hotel, onde o grande Louis Armstrong ficou quando ele se apresentou em Nova Orleans.
Os viajantes irão explorar o terreno sagrado da Praça do Congo, onde se diz que foram descobertas as origens do Jazz, além de conhecer o bairro afro-americano mais antigo do país, Treme.
Os viajantes também experimentarão música jazz ao vivo em uma das ruas mais populares e musicais de Nova Orleans, a "Frenchmen Street".

My wife and I were the only ones on tour. Learned a lot about New Orleans jazz and its beginnings. Viewed present Jazz Museum and site of new one being built. I wanted to visit some actual clubs and hear jazz if only for 10 to 15 minutes at each club.
Good Day, Hope you enjoyed your Jazz Tour experience. Unfortunately we do not do a Jazz club crawl our focus is on the pioneers, historical sites, and landmarks. We do hope Harris was able to point you to and recommend Jazz clubs and venues.

Harris was an amazing tour guide! Very personable and inspiring. He knew all the hot spots to go to see live music. His after the tour text had all the stuff we talked about and a lot of useful information. The only thing I wish we did, not negative, was to do the tour when we first go here, not the night before we left. 😊 (we will just have to go to the places he mentioned in the tour on our next visit)
