Highly recommended! We had a great time walking and eating various food all around the former French Concession. Jim was a terrific guide, made us feel welcome and so knowledgeable. The tour included multiple stops for different Shanghai breakfast specialties (all of which were outstanding) tea and fruit, plus lots of cultural and sightseeing info. Well worth it!
Great experience. Jim was the best guide. We enjoyed lots of different food from local shops.
A must-do. A quintessential tour of Shanghainese specialties that you would be remiss to miss. Cannot stress enough how important doing this tour is to enhance your trip to Shanghai. And the food is delicious! Jim and Jade were both very helpful guides and even helped us successfully track down some lost items which we left in one of the stops. Thank you Jim and Jade!
Yu was amazing and so knowledgeable. The food was great and you don't have to worry about eating enough. You'll be taking some home with you. I loved that this tour combined food, history, and beautiful gardens as you walk throughout the city. I highly recommend this tour!
Yu did an amazing job showing us around and having us try good food. Very funny and kind! She even waited for us because we were running late! :))
We had a wonderful morning with TJ and Spencer guiding us around the French Concession, eating the most delicious dumplings, noodles, duck and more. We even stopped for a tea ceremony. A great way to start our trip in Shanghai. The dumplings were amazing (better than the ones we’ve had for lunch today at one of the most famous places) and it was great to be supporting small local businesses. Thanks TJ and Spencer- you gave us a fabulous introduction to your city.
Highly recommend the tour. Jim, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. His English is really good. All eateries we visited were clean and served delicious local specialities. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Was a great way to spend a Sunday in Shanghai. Learned a lot and not only about the local food. The guide spoke fab English so communication was fluent and easy. The walking through the Old French Quarter ever interesting. Never bumped into any other tourists at anywhere we went. Food delicious. Places you would never find on your own. Absolutely sign up for this!
