Entre no passado em nosso passeio a pé pelo Fort Heritage de Bombai e explore o coração histórico de Mumbai além dos pontos turísticos habituais. Descubra arquitetura colonial, trilhas escondidas e histórias que moldaram a cidade. Liderado por uma empresa de viagens responsável, este passeio apoia diretamente iniciativas comunitárias locais. Você caminhará, olhando e aprendendo sobre os principais pontos turísticos desta área, começando no Cinema Regal, seguido pela Porta da Índia, Catedral do Santo Nome, e depois os edifícios no lado sul de Kala Ghoda. Em seguida, dirigiremos-nos para o Maidan Oval, de onde podemos ter uma boa vista da Universidade de Mumbai e de sua Torre do Relógio, Rajabhai, bem como da High Court de Mumbai. Caminharemos até a Estação Ferroviária Churchgate, a Fonte Flora e a Catedral de São Tomás, vencedora do Prêmio Património da UNESCO, onde também pararemos brevemente para um lassi ou outra bebida antes de dirigirmos para a Sociedade Asiática de Mumbai.

Com base nos estilos arquitetônicos hindu e islâmico, o portão da Índia fica à beira-mar do sul de Mumbai e, desde 1924, era a primeira coisa que os visitantes da cidade viam ao chegar de barco.

The trip was amazing. Our guide, Javed, was superb. He had precise and detailed knowledge about every place we visited. Javed was also very supportive and well-educated. This is an excellent way to get your bearings in Mumbai. The tour is relaxed and friendly, and covers a lot of ground. The guide provided interesting info, and answered any question. It's pretty hot and sweaty in Mumbai. Bring water, and remember to drink it!

Chetan was a brilliant guide, we first started off at The Gateway of India with its intricate latticework and fascinating history. It was interesting too to see the Taj Hotel. We travelled on the bus and took a taxi ride back near to our hotel and walked to the very busy Colaba street market selling everything! My favourite part of the tour was the huge Maharaj Terminus Station with its stunning architecture. 8 million people pass through this station daily. Also admiring Prince Arthur’s house. I was very impressed with Mumbai Fort district. Very clean, very beautiful buildings. I did the morning tour when there was not too many people so I was able to capture some good photos. The guide and the tour company are really wonderful.

We did the Dharavi tour with Reality Tours & Travel and we are impressed. Our guide not only guided us through the narrow streets, but also explained the complex economic and social structures of this 'city district within the city' in detail and in a differentiated way. The ethical approach is particularly noteworthy: As an NGO, 80% of profits go directly to local education projects. If you want to understand Mumbai beyond its shiny facades without falling into voyeuristic 'slum tourism', this is the place to be. Absolutely recommend!
