Excursão a pé fotográfica de 3 horas em York

The photo walk around York with Paula was a fantastic experience. We spent the morning exploring the city, with Paula pointing out lots of interesting opportunities for photos, explaining the best techniques to use for each shot, and providing loads of background information about the areas we were visiting. I loved it and can't wait to go back to experience one of the other walks she conducts. Highest recommendation for anyone interested in photography and who wants to explore this incredibly beautiful city.

I was only in York for a few days and, being unfamiliar with the location, I booked a photo walk to take me round the photogenic sites. I contacted Paula before the walk to ask advice on what equipment to bring. She responded quickly and her advice was spot on. On the day, I was met by Paula who was very friendly and very knowledgeable. She gave helpful advice on camera settings and composition as she took me round the best locations for photography. Paula was encouraging and supportive of my attempts to take good photographs and I learned much from her. To have your own personal guide who knows the area and knows photography just saves so much time and presents so much more possibilities than you are likely to uncover on your own. I wholeheartedly recommend Paula and York Photo Walks on a visit to York.

Really enjoyable walk around York. Paula is really knowledgeable and friendly and helped me to explore aspects of Yorks history and architecture that I might not otherwise have done by myself. Highly recommended

I really enjoyed my photo walk with Paula. She is very professional and explained everything very clearly, giving examples as we walked around. The 3 hours flew by! I only have a compact camera, but I learned a lot about composition, perspective etc. I hope to put the hints and tips she gave me to good use in the future. Very glad I booked the walk and would definitely do it again.

Was given this as a gift . I really enjoyed the whole experience. Paula is very knowledgeable - and patient! She explains and demonstrates things very clearly. I learned a lot which I hope to put into practice. Would recommend the tour to anyone.

Walked around in York, for 3 hours and during the walk getting some advice from a professional about maken a good picture. Very glad i did it..

I mainly do wildlife photography but wanted to try more urban photography, so I booked a photowalk with Paula Duck on new years eve 2021. Paula showed me around parts of the old city of York and gave me helpful advice on composition and how to approach urban / street photography. We ended in the Museum garden where the tame fat little squirrels provided great subjects for urban wildlife photography. Unfortunately, it cloudy for much of time so poor lighting for the historic building. I still enjoyed the walk and learnt a lot, and will be back to photography the Minster gargoyles on another sunnier day with my long lens.

I really enjoyed my photo walk with Paula. I hadn’t used my camera for a few months so it was ideal to get me back into it. Paula gave me some great tips and helped me discover a button on the camera I hadn’t used! I changed my settings regularly and it was great to get feedback on my photos. The walk ended in the museum gardens with the friendly fast moving squirrels, which added another opportunity change the camera settings. I would highly recommend this walk to anyone interested in photography, whether a beginner, experienced or just visiting York.

A very enjoyable and different way to get to know York again and learn more about my camera. Paula was very patient persuading me to turn it off auto and use the settings properly. Very pleased with the results. A very unhurried and relaxed walk too.
