I liked getting to know more obscure facts about the history of Lisbon. I expected a more immersive and scary experience. The experience was more in a historical perspective, but it was very interesting.

We really loved the tour. It was a good bit of walking but nothing too hard or crazy. We loved the smaller group size and our guide really made the tour more personable. We really enjoyed it and learned a lot.

What really set Clara apart, though, was her kindness and patience. I arrived late and had real difficulty locating the group — it took nearly half an hour until I finally found them. Clara stayed in communication with me the entire time, calm and gracious, she never made me feel like a burden. She simply kept working with me until I was where I needed to be. Fun and different. Interesting macabe view of Lisboa.

Wow! I didn’t fully realize what the subject matter was and totally loved the tour. The quality of the tour was all due to Beatriz. She had this wonderful energy, so vibrant and intelligent. We were just us two and her and yet the energy and spark was fantastic and invigorating. She went with the flow and in one amazing moment, a group of partiers was passing us by with loud music and she was able to weave that into her storytelling at that time. I was so impressed. I’m not good at history but she made it come alive in modern language which made it so relatable. I loved her energy so much. It makes a big difference when the tour guide is passionate about the subject matter. We wish her well—what an amazing person.
