Ivuka Arts Center é um centro de arte e galeria de arte localizado em Kigali, a capital da Ruanda.
O local na capital de Ruanda, Kigali, onde dez soldados belgas das forças de paz da ONU foram assassinados pelos extremistas hutus para provocar a retirada das forças da ONU, o que abriu caminho para o desenrolar do genocídio ruandês em grande escala.
O Nyamirambo Women's Center (NWC), uma ONG ruandesa, foi lançado no final de 2007 por 18 mulheres ruandesas que vivem em Nyamirambo, Kigali. Juntos, eles criaram um projeto que visava abordar a violência de gênero, a desigualdade de gênero e a discriminação. Hoje, a missão da NWC é fornecer educação e treinamento vocacional para mulheres que não têm meios de pagar por esse treinamento por conta própria, para que possam obter melhores oportunidades de emprego.

O mercado da cidade de Kigali é um ótimo lugar para se maravilhar. Ei, até certo ponto, os níveis superiores são muito parecidos com um shopping com o andar térreo com fornecedores de vários tipos, incluindo alimentos e utensílios domésticos. Os comerciantes são envolventes e não incomodam demais os visitantes, tirar fotos é fácil e aqui há uma grande variedade para ver. Alguns lugares para comer e beber também. Este não é um ponto turístico, então não há curiosidades reais e assim por diante, mas frutas, chá, café, mel e assim por diante à venda, se é isso que você está procurando. Os preços eram muito razoáveis e não havia muito espaço para negociação, mas também menos pressão para comprar. Um ótimo lugar para explorar - não há necessidade real de um guia ou um 'local' para acompanhá-lo, pois é seguro, bem iluminado e com grande segurança.

Our guide, Gloria was very knowledgeable. She did a great job telling us all about the city, we visited a woman’s center and got to stop and meet some of the women working. She had a wonderful sense of humor and kept us laughing all the way. Kigsli is a fascinating city.
