O primeiro monumento a ser visto no passeio é a maior igreja católica de Sarajevo, a Catedral do Sagrado Coração de Jesus. A Catedral do Sagrado Coração de Jesus foi construída em 1889 em estilo neogótico e é a sede da Arquidiocese de Vrhbosna.
Dentro do Museu da Cidade de Sarajevo está o Museu dos Judeus da Bósnia e Herzegovina, situado na sinagoga mais antiga da Bósnia e Herzegovina.
“Encontro de Culturas de Sarajevo” é a mensagem na rua Ferhadija, perto do Bezistão de Gazi Husrev Bey. Este é o local onde se fundem duas culturas dominantes, que outrora moldaram Sarajevo.
Construída no século XVI, é a maior mesquita histórica da Bósnia e Herzegovina e uma das estruturas otomanas mais representativas dos Balcãs.
O Sebilj é uma fonte de madeira de estilo otomano no centro da Praça Baščaršija, em Sarajevo, construída por Mehmed Pasha Kukavica em 1753.
Rua dos caldeireiros. Aprecie a aparência autêntica da rua que foi mantida durante séculos. O ofício de latoeiro ainda vive nesta rua.
A Câmara Municipal de Sarajevo, também conhecida como Vijećnica, é o edifício mais extravagante construído em Sarajevo durante a ocupação austro-húngara e serve como símbolo do encontro das civilizações mundiais.
Ponte popular com Spite House próxima. Por teimosia do proprietário, a casa ficou conhecida como Casa do Despeito. Hoje, é um popular restaurante nacional e um património cultural e histórico protegido.
A Mesquita do Imperador é a mesquita mais antiga de Sarajevo e uma das mais antigas da Bósnia e Herzegovina. Presume-se que Isa Bey Ishaković, o fundador de Sarajevo, mandou construir este local de culto logo após a fundação da cidade em 1462 em homenagem ao Sultão Mehmed II “o Conquistador”.
Também conhecido como Principov Most é o local onde Gavrilo Princip, que estava a poucos metros desta ponte, assassinou o arquiduque Franz Ferdinand e sua esposa, Sofie. Este incidente, conhecido como Assassinato de Sarajevo, levou ao início da Primeira Guerra Mundial.
O bezistão (bazar coberto) de Gazi Husrev-beg é um dos bezistão preservados em Sarajevo do período otomano. Construído em 1555 em Baščaršija, o Bezistão ainda serve o seu propósito - o comércio.
Taslihan foi construído em 1543 como o waqf de Ghazi Husrev-Bey. Tinha fonte, mesquita, pátio, lojas e depósitos. Foi severamente danificado em vários incêndios que atingiram Sarajevo.
Hotel posicionado no coração da cidade de Sarajevo, a poucos passos do núcleo turístico do centro histórico, este edifício austro-húngaro, só com o seu esplendor externo, irá cativar você.
A Igreja Catedral da Natividade de Theotokos é a maior igreja ortodoxa sérvia em Sarajevo e uma das maiores dos Bálcãs.
O Monumento ao “Humano Multiétnico” que celebra a multietnicidade está posicionado no centro entre três grandes símbolos religiosos – a catedral católica, a mesquita muçulmana e a igreja cristã ortodoxa – a poucos passos de cada um. “O homem multicultural está construindo o mundo”, é esculpido em língua italiana e bósnia.
A Rosa de Sarajevo é uma espécie de memorial em Sarajevo feito de cicatriz de concreto causada pela explosão de um morteiro que posteriormente foi preenchido com resina vermelha.

We had the chance to join the walking tour without booking in advance. We were at the square when we saw someone holding a Free Walking Tour umbrella, so we asked if we could join, and luckily we could! It was one of the best walking tours I have ever been on. Very interesting from start to finish. Our guide, Adnan, explained everything in such an easy and pleasant way that it was effortless to follow along. I didn’t get bored for a single moment. He also answered many of our questions and curiosities with patience and enthusiasm. Joining this tour was definitely a great choice. I’ve joined walking tours in other cities before, and honestly, some of them were disappointing because they didn’t reach the same level as this one. I highly recommend it!

We were fortunate to do this tour with the immensely erudite Adnan. Sarajevo is a city best experienced by walking and we covered the city’s history from the Ottomans to the Habsburgs and the siege of the 1990s. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting - we did it on our first day and it was very helpful for orienting ourselves.

We had a great tour guide (Adnan) who spoke very good English. During the tour we learned a lot about the historical and cultural elements of the city: for example, something about copper craftsmanship, the roses in Sarajevo or famous poets and thinkers. It was a good and balanced mix of everything. My personal highlight was when we went to a "workshop"/shop for copper products and were able to watch the production there. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, young or old. We were picked up from our Airbnb promptly by the host and went on your eventful tour.
