Attention, the castle is closed on Mondays, and it is possible to enter the gardens for free. No entertainment, no fountain, but no fees. I still deposited around $100 to enter the gardens last Monday by purchasing tickets with Viator. I hope for a refund.
Nous sommes désolés que cette visite ait pris des airs de “billet mystère pour un jardin gratuit”. Pour clarifier : TouringBee ne vendait pas de billet d’entrée pour Versailles dans cette offre. Il s’agissait d’une visite audio numérique des jardins, à utiliser sur votre smartphone, et le titre indiquait bien “no tickets” / sans billets. Autrement dit, ce n’était pas une clé dorée pour ouvrir les grilles royales, mais un audioguide pour accompagner la promenade. Les jours gratuits, les fermetures du château et les animations des fontaines sont gérés par Versailles, pas par TouringBee. Nous comprenons toutefois que la situation ait pu créer une confusion, c’est pourquoi le remboursement a déjà été effectué.
I really enjoyed this audio walk through the Versailles Gardens. The gardens are beautiful on their own, of course, but the audio guide added small stories and details that made different parts of the route more interesting. There were a lot of people when I visited, so walking independently worked very well: sometimes you can wait a little, slip between groups, and get a photo without a crowd in the background, even if the timing is very short. My only small regret is that the tour is only for the gardens — I would honestly love to explore the palace itself in the same format too. But this is what was available, and for the gardens it was a really nice experience.

Please note that you have to buy garden entry tickets separately at the gate! This offering is misleading and I would like my money back on this one.
We're very sorry you felt like Versailles had an unexpected twist at the gate. TouringBee provides a digital audio guide for self-guided tours of the Garden of Versailles, not entrance tickets, as we indicate in the title and description. Garden entrance, if required, is purchased separately. Our audio guide is designed to tell stories, provide context, and guide you during your visit — unfortunately, it does not open the royal gates on its own.
I really liked the audio guide. It was interesting walking around the gardens with these hilarious stories. Not like museum audio guides, here learned many details of the daily life of the kings and the main thing became clear what each fountain means, otherwise would have left just with beautiful pictures
So much has happened in this garden! Amazing stories, personal secrets of kings and queens, revelations of contemporaries—there was so much to discover on this tour. I never regretted walking through the garden in winter. The weather was pleasant, and the audio guide's stories were informative and engaging.

Wow! The audio guide of the Gardens of Versailles on this app was an incredible experience. The narration is superbly done, with a very pleasant voice and a perfect pace for walking around without rushing. Plus, the map in the app syncs perfectly with my location, so I always knew exactly where to look or where to go. Ticket for Palace of Versailles was not accepted as it was issued on the wrong day. The ticket for the castle garden had the right day, but an incorrect code. The castle garden should only exist without an audio guide.
