Ours was a FREE walking tour of Granada Centro and Albaicin. We booked through Top Tours website, but due to the minimum of guests (just 2) we were directed to another operater (La Alborea). The tour meeting point was at the Plaza Isabel La Catolica. We were taken past most of the historical sites in Central Granada with explanations of each and the into the narrow pedestrian lanes of Albaicin (the old Arab quarter). our guide was Jose and he was VERY knowledgeable of the history of the area and also told us points of interest. Tour lasted 2 hours and was FREE. You can give a donation/tip at the end of the tour depending upon what you thought. A great way to be introduced to Granada and its history.
Thank you very much for your detailed review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the walking tour through Granada Centro and the Albaicín. José will be very happy to know that his knowledge and explanations helped you discover the history and charm of the city. It’s a pleasure for us to offer visitors a first introduction to Granada, its monuments, its narrow streets and its unique heritage. Thank you again for your kind words and for recommending the experience!
Nice flamenco show, but sorry there was so little of it. The show is scheduled for an hour, but real flamenco dance only occupies the half. The rest of the 60 minutes are song and guitar games which are fine but do not have much to do with flamenco dance. On the other hand, that is what is excellent. So the price of 20 Euro is for 30 minutes of dance and not 60 minutes as it is sold as.
Dear customer, We advertise €20 for one hour of flamenco, which includes dancing, guitar, and singing. Please do not try to spread false information. Best regards.
Really fun and engaging tour around historical area of Granada. We were a group of about 8 people and the guide really made it fun and interesting. We actually got switched to a tour in Spanish (not a problem - it was with advance notice and were offered the English tour on an alternate date but decided to go ahead in Spanish as I speak the language). The flamenco show afterwards was brilliant, very intimate and we got front row seats. As others have said there is about an hour / 45 mins gap between the end of the tour and the start of the show so time to get a drink and a tapa.
Dear Peter. We are delighted to read your opinion. We are very pleased that you enjoyed the experience. Kind regards.
Extremely good value to get a 2h walking tour of Albaicin and 1st row seats at the flamenco show basically for the price of the show itself! There were some people that somehow only paid for the tour, so please make sure to book the right itinerary (this one). Initially the tour started quite slowly but we got lots of interesting facts, ‘secret’ Alhambra viewpoints, learned among others about Muslim history of medicine and origin of flamenco. 💃 The show was brilliant - my 4th time seeing flamenco, this one seemed the least ‘set’. Some may not like it but for me it felt like it must have been in true flamenco bars. would definitely recommend.
Dear customer. Reviews like this help us to continue on our way as we have been doing so far. Best regards.
The original tour guide wasn't available, but we latched on to a walking tour with Lolita's free walking tours, and Francesco was great. He has an obvious love for his city, and the tour offers beautiful views of the Alhambra. The walk involves steps and is a little long. But the history of the city is remarkable, and the experience was memorable. Finally, the flamenco show is excellent. The performers were committed and played and danced with verve and dedication to their craft.
Thank you very much for your feedback. Best regards!
Francisco, our guide, was fantastic! He was a wealth of information and we very much enjoyed our tour. When there was a bit of confusion regarding the Flamenco show, he called the location to ensure we were on their guest list (turns out the walking tour ends 1.5 hours before the start of the Flamenco show which suited us well since we grabbed a bite to eat in between). The show was interesting!
We are very happy that you enjoyed the experience. Best regards!
We were very fortunate to be only people (group of 8) to be booked in the tour. . Juan was a great guide and we got to see the really interesting neighbourhood of Granada! So great tour from our perspective! It got better with the Flamenco show! We got front row seats so felt really engaged in the show! There was an hour gap between the end of the tour and the show, which was fine for us, but could be some to consider if you are on a tight schedule
We appreciate your review and we are glad to have met your expectations. Best regards and see you soon.
Very interesting visit. Recommended at 1000% The guide Jaime very attentive and friendly, very prepared you can see that he likes Recorded
Muchas gracias. Agradecemos sus palabras y más en particular el guía Jaime. Saludos cordiales.
What a great place to see flamenco. A one hour during show. We hat the tickets with tapas and free drinks and the "presidential seats". What a great gitarist, singer and dancers.
Thank you very much for your visit. We look forward to seeing you soon. Best regards.
A thoroughly enjoyable and authentic feeling flamenco show, on a small stage in an intimate venue. The singer, guitarist and dancers were first class. I have watched flamenco in the past, some good and some bad, so I hope my judgement is sound. After the show well worth visiting Bodegas Castañegas 100 metres down the road, great tapas bar
Thank you very much for your feedback. We hope to see you in the near future.
