Extraordinary Christmas market in Ribeauvillé the most beautiful we have ever seen on the medieval theme with entertainment in all the extraordinary streets. As for that of Colmar zero indeed no signage no orientation of thousands of people impossible to move in the alleys and very unpleasant people. We will never return to Colmar but with great pleasure to Ribeauvillé an exceptional organization of perfect parking places congratulations to the city.
Brilliant trip to two fantastic Christmas markets. Ribeauville was the absolute star of the show. When they said it was a medieval market, we were not prepared for just what that meant. Traditional costumes, food, music, performances. It was amazing. The town itself is like something out of a painting. Gorgeous colourful chocolate box buildings and so many little shops to dip into. Colmar was very busy and a bit spread out, by comparison, but enjoyable, especially after dark. Overall, we would recommend this trip.
Ribeauvillé was incredible. They could have made it the whole excursion. Was not very impressed with Colmar but others seemed to reallly like it. The bus we were on did not have a bathroom or internet as advertised.
