Konoko Falls has so much potential. The natural setting is a real gem — lush, scenic, and peaceful. We had a wonderful time for most of our visit and the phone team who handled our booking was superb. Sadly, the experience fell apart. In-person customer service was inconsistent, with some staff interactions that were poor. Most seriously, our group experienced a mishap that left a bad taste in our mouths with security. This place could be 5 stars with some work. Until then, I can only recommend with caution: enjoy the beauty, but remain very vigilant.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the natural beauty of Konoko Falls and Tropical Garden and that our reservations team provided you with excellent service. We're genuinely sorry to learn that your visit was affected by inconsistent customer service at the attraction and, in particular, by the incident involving security. While these aspects are managed by the attraction itself and are outside of El Sol Vida's direct control, we understand how they can significantly impact the overall experience. Your feedback is valuable, and with your permission we would be happy to share it with the attraction's management, as constructive comments like yours help encourage improvements. We appreciate your balanced review and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with another memorable Jamaican experience in the future.
We weren't sure we could get up the falls, but the grio is better than you expect, there are some footholds cut at strategic places, and most importantly, our guide Kenroy helped us any time we needed. Naldi was our guide on the trail and he knows a lot.
During our vacation we decided to take a tour of Konoko Falls and garden. We learned about the indigenous animals and plants of the island. The falls was a bit intimidating. We had to walk down a lot of stairs to get to the bottom. We were accompanied by three young strong and amusing guides that made the journey go by smoothly. I wouldn’t have made it up without them.
We have visited Ocho many times and have visited every attraction in the area - Konoko is, by far, our new favorite. It’s better and must less crowded than Dunns with much more to see and experience (the animals are amazing!) with more attentive guides.we BSCI ally had the gardens and falls to ourselves, and took all the time we wanted! The gardens, animals, and falls are worth every minute and every penny. April and Kenroy were wonderful guides! If you see Kenroy, please tell him thank you from his Minnesota friends. My son hurt himself at the falls (his fault, not the falls which are very safe) but Kenroy was EXTREMELY attentive, caring, and patient. He got a nurse and stayed with us all the way through our departure. Any other guide would have rushed to be a guide for the next family once we got to the nurse, but not Kenroy. His caring and attentiveness were so greatly appreciated, we were completely impressed. We are grateful and can’t wait to return!
This was nothing short of amazing! Kenroy was a great guide. I regret not putting money in our things to tip him. He not only helped us during the climb but he made sure to take photos of our experience with our phones. Thanks Kenroy!
This is definitely a place to visit in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The experience was amazing with a great tour guide.
We climbed the falls today, and had our tour guide on the falls Kenroy. He didn't outstanding job!!!!!!. He knew all the spots to put our feet, took great pictures and he was very knowledgeable of his job. Hope to see him when I come back in December
The falls are neat but the the garden tour was pretty boring kind of a lot of waiting around. Little pushy for tips and selling all there things But I guess that’s expected. If I were to do it again I’d just get a ticket for $20 and tour the falls myself and get my own transportation.
Last December, we had the chance to visit this small botanical garden. There are many native plants, flowers as well as birds and other animals. The presence of a guide makes the tour very interesting. Then we climbed the Konobo Falls. Our guide Jeremy was extraordinary. He guided us safely, he followed our climbing pace and took the time to take many photos (all excellent). We felt safe throughout the activity and he was attentive to our needs. I recommend this activity and especially Jeremy to climb this fall.
A mini Dunns river fall, but very educationally with lots of history, Konoko fall is a hidden gem. Not only you'll get to claim the falls , which is about half the size of the famous Dunns river falls, they also have between the falls there's a little spot that was frequently visited by the Late Reggae Superstar(Icon)and legendary Bob Marley, there you can feel his spirit (Bob). Then there's a mini zoo, which house alligators, birds, and other wildlife etc....the different herbs of the land, fresh spring water and breathe taking view of the city of ocho rios. Cost is $20 USD for adult which includes a curator and guide up the falls. If you stay at the Jewel Paradise Cove Runaway Bay resort, then your visit to Konoko falls is complimentary and it comes with free shuttle service to and from the falls. Konoko falls is MUST.
We are happy your experience was awesome. Feel free to recommend our service.
