Smooth operation... Despite many tourists.. Staff friendly and funny.. always happy 😃!!!!!!!!
Our morning tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum went flawlessly, even in the extreme July heat. Our guide, Michael G, was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and engaging. The best tour guide I have ever had! Would recommend this tour, and Michael G, to any visitor to Athens!
Beautiful experience, thank you to our tour guide Voula. She was so kind, knowledgeable and funny. Although it was a very hot day we made sure to book the earliest tour 9am. Anytime Voula wanted to stop and explain certain things she made sure we stoped where there was enough shade and breeze for everyone. Definitely recommend this tour if you’re into history and Greek mythology . I would recommend if you book the 9am tour to show up 15-30mins early because there is a line outside the office to register and obtain your tour guide hearing devices. The tour guide hearing devices was a plus since there are multiple tours going on and you would want to hear your tour guide whether there are others speaking around you or if you’re in the back of your group.
Building was hard to locate to meet up but then it was okay. The ruin is amazing to see. There is tons to see and our guide was very nice. We had a combo so we saw the ruin, the museum and had lunch. This was a great way to see it on a limited time frame.
Our guide was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. We did the tour, the museum and the lunch. I recommend them all. Wear shoes with grips, the marble and granite is slippery in spots. I also recommend a hat or umbrella for shade, it is hot! Also, bring water and use the restroom before you go because the bathrooms inside are closed for renovations.
Really great preserved pieces of Greek history. Terrific job keeping in good condition and displayed in a great display.
We arrived a little late and they waited for us, so that was a good start. : ) Our guide Alexia was a real professional, she knew just about everything about the place (if you're reading this, thank you again from Hungary). The tour wasn't hard at all because we regualarly rested in the shade. The pace was relaxing and we had time to see every important part of the site and Alexia didn't let us get lost in the crowd. It was an amazing experience and we learned so much about Athens in the ancient times. I can only recommend it!
I was unable to attend because of an injury, but my husband attended and said it was a very interesting tour. He said the tour rep was very knowledgeable and he enjoyed it very much.
Anna (Annie) was amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate. She masterfully navigated our group through the acropolis on a very very busy day as lines were long trying to leave. The only reason I wouldn’t give 5 stars was the lunch portion which they forgot. The tour agency quickly made ir right, apologized and had someone walk us to the restaurant personally which was awesome but the restaurant didn’t seem to pleased to host me and my wife and we felt we were inconveniencing them. We felt their frustration and we should not have as a patron. If we weren’t tired, hungry, and didn’t pre-pay for it through our tour we would have left.
Our tour guide was wonderful, patient , knowledgeable and navigated throughout with perfect precision. She also took photos for us in the perfect spots. We enjoyed the museum as well, lunch was good in a busy restaurant and it was nice to be led there and have a table waiting. Definitely recommend.
