We did a shore excursions of Bangkok and Pattaya with Ms. Pu while in Thailand. It was perfect! We spent the day in Bangkok visiting the Royal Palace, Wat Pho, canal tour and more. She showed us the highlights, provided valuable information and made the tour so enjoyable. The next day we went to Pattaya. We had a limited amount ot time due to ship schedule and Ms Pu made every moment count - we saw the botanical gardens, cultural and elephant show and Sanctuary of Truth. She even made it possible for us to spend time with the elephants - which we loved! She was amazing! Clean, comfortable transportation, water and cooling towels were provided. Definitely a highlight of our Asia trip!! Thank you Ms Pu - we loved having you for a guide!!!
We toured Bangkok with Thai Tour Guide on March 5 from the port of Laem Chabang while sailing on the Celebrity Solstice. From the arranging of the tour (in August 2025, communication with Mr. CHOB) to the details of our actual tour- everything was EXCELLENT. I would give 10 stars if I could. As arranged, our guide Ms.Joy and driver Mr. Tony were waiting punctually at the cruise terminal in an air conditioned comfortable van. We received cold water bottles throughout the day, a small gift from them, as well as homemade pastries. Cold towels were promised (and delivered) for later in the day, as it grew hotter. The approx 2-hour drive to Bangkok was safe, and we also were given a halfway-through bathroom break. Much info was shared during the drive and Ms. Joy was so warm, kind and smart with the info she shared. She brought us to many sites throughout the day (Grand Palace, Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram, a private long tail boat ride, and Reclining Buddha). Ms. Joy and Mr. Tony always cared for our safety, comfort, and fun- Ms. Joy was eager to take photos of us in just the right spots and she gave us a lot of wonderful information about Bangkok and all that we were seeing. It was a delightful day! She even shared some of her personal snacks on the 2.5 hour drive back to the cruise port. Highly recommend Thai Tour Guide as a company- would definitely tour with them again.
The tour to Bangkok to the Palace, temples, and river cruise was very good. I was worried about time, but we got back to the ship in plenty of time. Our guide took very good care of us.
We came to Bangkok via cruiseship so we only had 1 day for the highlights. As this is not much time we decided to book a private tour so we could move at our pace. Mr George as well as the driver were punctual. The car was clean and a cold bottle of water was waiting! Mr George provided background information on the 2 hour drive in as well as details on the day‘s itinerary. Just prior to arriving in the city we stopped for a restroom break. Mr George even thought to provide toilet paper! Our first stop was the flower market. We walked through parts of it with Mr George stopping to point out particular flowers or to point out their fragrances. In we went to a long-tail boat ride. Unfortunately there was insufficient time to travel to the floating markets. Next stop Grand Palace. Along the way another restroom stop along with the opportunity to fill our water bottles- much needed on this March day with plenty of sunshine, high humidity and temperatures around 37 Celsius.Throughout the tour Mr George was very conscious of stopping for explanations in areas where there was shade or a fan was blowing. A lot of little things make the difference such as pointing out or even taking pictures in the ideal spots or carrying our shoes through the temple with the reclining Buddha so we would have our hands free to take photos ourselves. Overall we were extremely satisfied with the tour and our day. Given the weather conditions further stops would have been too much! We also stopped for typical Thai food recommended by Mr George in an airconditioned restaurant. Mr. Georg took care of all entrance fees as well as the lunch charges as part of the excursion fee. As such, we could entirely concentrate on the sites.

Absolutely spectacular day with a very engaging and intelligent guide, Alex, and safe and attentive driver, Mr. Happy. We could not be happier with the day. We saw a tremendous amount of Bangkok on a shore excursion. The car was new and well air conditioned. We saw everything planned, plus added several more things along the way. Alex spoke perfect English, and taught us so much about what we were seeing and about Thailand. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see and learn as much as possible in a short amount of time.
This was a private day tour to Bangkok from our cruise ship in Laem Chabang. Great company & tour. Received immediate communication on what to expect and name of the guide. Guide, Mr. George, was great. So was the driver. Very professional and friendly. Everything went very smoothly and we couldn’t ask for better. Saw as much as we could in one long day. They know what they’re doing. Highly recommend.
Great day trip to Bangkok with Joy. Lots of sights, lots of explanations, Royal Palace, Buddhas, boat trip. Delicious eaten, flowers tied, highly recommended and always back.
Mr. Chob and our guide, George, were outstanding in their communications with us both during the booking process and the lead up to the excursion. We stayed overnight in Bangkok and used the hotel suggested by Mr. Chob - Chatrium Riverside - it was exemplary and I heartily recommend their breakfast buffet. George and our driver, Tony, were on time for both our port and hotel pickups. The itinerary was very enjoyable and George provided excellent context throughout. Our favorite stops were on our second day at the Railway and Floating Markets. Perhaps the only part of the itinerary we did not enjoy much was the cruise along the river in Bangkok; the scenery was only of mild interest and it went on for what seemed like a long time. The rest of the itinerary was great and we are very happy that we chose to stay overnight in Bangkok and use Mr. Chob for our touring arrangements there.
We only had two ne day - so the goal was to have the experience maxed out . That was truly a super professional experience . Perfect car and driver and ms. Alice was the best !
