What an experience. A very experienced tour guide was on time with a comfortable vehicle. We learnt a lot and visited interesting places within the townships. The people we met were lovely and we enjoyed every aspect of the tour. Highlights included the children at the daycare centre, meal in a private home, the market and the clicking language. Highly recommend this company and tour guide. Don’t forget to bring some lollipops for the children.

Great tour with Frans to Mondesa township. We got a real insight into life and culture, food and music. A highlight was the Rivonia a cappella singing group. Don’t miss this tour if you like meeting people and learning about their lives
My guide did a great job of presenting the township history and culture and was attuned to me as a client. Tour was rushed tho as they did their advertised 5 hour tour in 3 hours and picked me up several hours late so they squeezed in an extra tour that day. Put profit ahead of client care
This tour is both historically fascinating (the townships were set up in apartheid times) and in terms of contemporary Namibia. Far from 'poverty tourism' Nande's trip gives you a real insight into the vibrancy of the townships around Swakopmund and the communities that live there. Nande is super cool and an excellent guide and we enjoyed the opportunity to walk around, chat to people, enjoy a local breakfast and particularly to listen to an amazing local a capella group. We were a small mixed group of adults and teenagers and for everyone this was a highlight of our Namibia trip.

The township tour we (family of 4) with Nande was one of the highlights of our Namibian holiday. Nande took us through the swakopmund township meanwhile giving lots of background information. Meeting and talking to the people of his neighbourhood is something you must not miss! Very impressive.
